We came here to get sandwiches to go. We got the BLTO breakfast sandwich and the Jambon, Chèvre, and Pesto sandwich. The breakfast sandwiches come with their own round bread. The other sandwiches come with an option of baguette or ciabatta. The BLTO sandwich was pretty dry and underwhelming. The bread was a bit dry. The egg was fully cooked, making it more dry. The most interesting element was the maple Mayo, but the flavor was mostly lost unless you were eating only the bread. Please be more generous with the maple! Also it goes without saying that the bacon is not the typical American thin crispy bacon but the local Canadian bacon. The ham sandwich was much better. Not quite what I was expecting but delicious. The ham wasn't like your typical ham, it was really soft and tasted more like chicken. The dominate flavor was a roasted tomato and the pesto. The chèvre and the ham got a little lost with the strong flavor of the sauce. Quite messy by the end and the fresh tomato was not really necessary. Baguette was good. Service was good and everyone was very kind and seemed happy to be there. It's a very small space and two of the four inside tables were occupied by people trying to do work on their laptops. Casual ambiance with a little corner with art, a record player, and some merchandise swimsuits and bags - not branded with the shop. There is some outdoor seating as well. Kid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere with lounge chairs and outdoor seating.
Discovered this cute cafe very late one afternoon in January 2023, with a very inviting atmosphere and warm, friendly service. We both opted for the bourguignon sandwich one on focaccia, one on baguette with the butternut squash soup & they were the most delicious we have tasted!
New place that just opened up. I had a bourguignon sandwich on focaccia and a potato-based soup and they were both delicious! Highly recommend visiting. Can’t wait to go back and try chicken tandoori sandwich.
Hard to do this place justice in a review. Ya delightfully unpretentious. My sandwich was a delicious baguette, filled with perfectly cooked bacon, a yummy chipotle mayo, some kind of caramelised onions which went perfectly with it, and some salad.Food: 5/5
Unassuming delicious cafe with hot fresh sandwiches, soup, and salads! Great veggie options too!!!! So glad we chanced upon this spot - great start to our QC trip.Food: 5/5

I was in Québec for 4 days and ended up going to Ficelle every single day. Their sandwiches are great especially loved the caprese on a warm baguette, and all the staff were really friendly!
Great sandwiches for on the go. They are also open to special requests and removing certain toppings from sandwiches.Food: 5/5
Amazing food! And I am obsessed with the dog.
It's a tiny sandwich shop. Just two choices of soup and a small menu. The baguette was good and I tried the asparagus soup, which I've never had before. Highly recommend if you want a good soup and sandwich.Food: 5/5
