We stayed here over a weekend to get away from the typical life, we decided on booking with Fernie Central Reservations at one of their units at the Cedar Ridge Estates on the ski hill. It was a very nice unit with a hot tub and fairly clean and were happy until we noticed a lose cabinet door, we immediately called them to report it as it had the risk of coming off completely.  A day went back and we called again, nothing again, and that same evening the door did come off and a sharp edge hit me on the foot, causing a large bruise and a little bit of bleeding.  If you choose to stay here, please do so at your own risk as Fernie Central Reservations will not be assisting with any such matter although they have a nice product to offer, the service definitely lacks.

Had a lovely stay at the 901 Schoolhouse in Fernie with FCR. The place was huge, had stunning views, and was right on the downtown strip. 

Everyone we talked to at Fernie Central Reservations was super helpful, all directions were easy to understand, key pick up and drop off is super simplified with a lock box system, and we had any amazing time.

Would definitely use again next time we go!

Had a similar experience as the last reviewer. We recently moved out of a place we rented through Fernie Central Reservations. The staff were extremely kind and helpful for getting us into the place and signed onto a 1 month lease, but we've received minimal to no assistance once we decided to move out. They are slow and reluctant to respond to emails and never once have I been able to speak to anyone on the phone aside from the very kind assistant at the front desk.

We lived in a unit for 6 weeks and tidied up after moving out, knowing that we were going to be charged the cost of cleaning from our damage deposit. We picked up the deposit just recently and noted that we were charged over $350 for cleaning. After finally getting a response, I was provided with pictures of footprints on carpets, some tile floor, and a soap scum ring around the toilet. The owners of the unit were trying to sell (hence moving out), and I know there have been open houses and viewings since we moved out - but we've yet to see any cleaning bills or statements from them verifying the inspection dates in line with our actual move out.

All in all - not impressed with the lack of care or concern they provide with you upon leaving the rental property. Realistically, if you're looking for a short term rental in Fernie, there are a lot of easier options to go through.
