Fat Louie's Eatery & Bar

I have heard so many good things about the meatball subs from here and I finally tried one yesterday. I have to say I was pretty disappointed. The meatballs themselves were great! Soft, moist, great flavour! However, meatballs alone are not enough to make this a great sandwich. The sandwich was dry, had virtually no sauce and a pitiful amount of cheese. I compare this sandwich to Antipasto's meatball sub which is easily an 4.5 - 4.8 out of 5 (I'm reserving a 5 for a sub that will blow me away). This would have easily been a solid 4 star if they would have smothered it with cheese and sauce. Now it's a 2 out of 5. Maybe it was just the cook that day, maybe it was an off day....either way, be on your game. The only reason this got an extra star was because the meatballs were great.

Today, March 24, we observe Earth Hour, an annual global event that seeks to raise awareness on the need to take action on climate change as well as to promote sustainable energy consumption. Your bar was the only place in our neighbourhood who didn't do as our country asked us and turn lights out for one hour! All of our neighbours went dark, but you lit up the sky! We will never eat there again! What's a bar doing in a good residential neighbourhood anyway? I took photos and videos of our neighbourhood in darkness and your bar lighting up the sky! I hope they go viral and more people stop eating there!

Since moving to the Niagara region in 2016, my husband and I were searching for a bar with great good, service and atmosphere. Well we have found our place. The pizza here is to die for. My hubby is a wing man and while he loved the huge wings here we had on our first visit, yesterday, we asked if they would be kind enough to give them a dusting of flour. I can't tell you how AMAZING they were!!!! Further, Anthony the owner, is always around ensuring everyone is well taken care of. Wendy, Angie, Dianne and Kara just don't stop moving and your glass is never empty long! 5 plus stars for this establishment

Very friendly and attentive staff. The pizza exceeded our expectations with great toppings. We also had 2 lbs of wings with different seasonings both were amazing.

The wings are amazing and the pizza is great too. The service is a bit slow but it’s because of the crowd. Other than that it’s awesome.
