I wanted to try out this cafe since I enjoyed the decor looking from the outside and I finally did over the weekend for a lunch that ended up to be close to dinner time. I gave it a 4 star simply because they really need to work on their speed on bringing out the food sooner. I do like to order as much as possible to try on the dishes on the menu but the waiting time was a downer. The lamb chop was overcooked and bit too dry. Rest of the dishes are very good. I like the manager at the bar, he was very attentive. I love the cocktails here and the presentation is very pleasing to the eye. Would I go back? Yes! But I need to make sure I have a long day to spare for them in case they don't improve on their time management.
I'm not sure why this place has low ratings. My friends and I had the best time here. They were super accommodating and polite. The staff and service was amazing. The portions were great, we were SO FULL we couldn't even finish our food. I don't know why people like to complain so much! The atmosphere was really cute and the food was so so delicious. I literally only spent $35 here including tip and left with so many leftovers. 10/10. Seems like some people have a personal agenda against this place. I recommend the butter chicken, it was so so filling. And the sliders to share between 3 people was perfect.. they were SO GOOD.
It was an amazing experience to be honest. Refreshingly new way of food presentation. The food was delicious too. The staff was amazing, specially given that they have such high footfall. Special thanks to Sammy and all staff members for hosting us and making our anniversary, a very special day even more special for us. Overall had a good vibe and great ambience. Would definitely recommend.
The restaurant’s ambiance is great, a lot of focus on presentation which is really impressive. However, the food was not worth it at all from drinks/ appetizers to dessert. They really need to improve their taste. For the price point and the main reason I would go to a restaurant the food I would not recommend this place.
It was our first visit to Farzi. Wow! The drinks were fantastic. The food was crazy delicious! And, the presentation of the food was a delight for the eyes as well. The finishing of some of the dishes at the table was really cool dinner AND a show! In particular, you don't want to miss the Gulab Jamun 2.0 for dessert - not only is it delicious but the theatrics that come with it, damn! Our waiter Sammy was a great help guiding us through the menu on our first visit. Definitely coming back! Soon.
Short summary: food is good, service is not, definitely not worth the price. Never ask for 'still water', always ask for tap water. The food was pretty good and I liked the way the restaurant had put their own twist on a lot of the dishes. Unfortunately, even though we reserved, they didn't seem to have a table ready granted we were about 10 minutes late. We managed to get a table inside, close to the windows. Unfortunately, a gust of wind would come by our feet every so often, either from the main door or back door. We waited about an hour for our food and weren't given any updates from the staff, but when we asked the manager about the delay, we were told that something went wrong with the gas pipes even though we saw several others getting served their food, which is fine, but I do wish we were given an update earlier. After that situation, however, we didn't seem to have any issues. My least favourite part was the fact that this is a restaurant that has staff that will ask you "sparkling or still water?" and if you make the mistake of saying "still water", you will still get charged for the water, despite the price not being listed on the menu. ALWAYS SPECIFY TAP WATER when they ask if you want sparkling or still water. The reason restaurants will do this is to run up your bill, and thus, the tip. We made the mistake of getting 3 waters they come in bottles, for which we got charged $18. Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options Parking: Good luck finding parking at Square One on a weekend.
I had an absolutely wonderful time here. The food was fantastic, the presentation was unreal, and the vibe and atmosphere and unparalled. Unlike others, I had no delays or waits and was an enjoyable experience through and through. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. I would recommend this place.
This is a place where you first eat with your eyes. Everything was WOW about this place! The drinks were fantastic. The food was delicious. I took a few friend for a treat and they loved it. It’s worth the try. I am definitely coming back. 10/10 for the ambiance, service and quality.
Good food good vibes as it says at the Farzi Café. The presentation is alluring and taste is not too bad. They surely need to expand their menu for vegetarians and have more family meal instead of individuals in main course. Awesome live music and entertainment. for that. Good for special events like birthdays, anniversaries, proposals.
Cool vibe with the looks and music. I'd say a good spot if you're trying to impress a date with surface level stuff. This place is punching above it's weight. I didn't eat here, but a glance at the menu definitely screams fancy names for basic indian food. Service was okay. One bartender seemed to care, the other not so much. He charged my boy for a double even though he clearly asked for a single. Good place, but for prices like this, I'd expect more conscientious service and at the very least a more respectable washroom.
