I tried this place because it is located in my hotel. I had a ticket be for a free breakfast which was ok. Pancakes were very dense and hard to eat. The sausages casing were very tough as well. For dinner I had the anichini and Osso buco. The rice balls weren't bad, the breading is very thick and crunchy. Inside could use something else like peas added. Kinda just blah but good tomato sauce. Osso Buco had good flavour, not a whole lot of meat for what I paid. I don't care for polenta which is what it is supposed to c ok me with so I got rissoto. Very chewy and gummy/starchy. I don't think I will be back during this trip.
They served the best cappelletti dish I have ever tasted! A unique and delicious Caesar salad, amazing lasagna, soft lighting, beautiful decor, the food was fantastic, they even made a custom dish as a special request. We had a great dinner and it was not overly expensive. This will be a regular stop for our family.
A great little spot inside the Best Western, that saves you having to leave the premises for an evening drink and a bite. Menu was very limited and a little on the pricey side tho if you just wanted something to snack on with your drink. And to clarify this was Fab bar, which is just the bar side of the restaurant.Food: 3/5
Atmosphere is great. Heard from an Italian friend they really liked this place and I thought it was really authentic. Great food Only one server one staffing shortages everywhere but she was friendly and did a great job. Restaurant is in the Best Western and has a shared bathroom. Half the tables are up 3 steps on a balcony. Great date location
I think the chef that had been working there must have left, because the new chef if they have one, didn't prepare our dinner very well at all. The waitress's were okay, but forgot some things and didn't make up the bills correctly. My wife and I were charged a drink from another parties orders, and they had to pay us back in cash to make up for the restaurant's mistake. We won't be going back there, it was not a great experience. And for $100 you would think one couple would get some value for that. Unfortunately there was little to be impressed with.
Sunday brunch and had the omelet, delicious! Portion size is very good, coffee was good and refilled often. The restaurant only had a group of 10 and myself but the one server was very attentive. I've found my weekend brunch spot!Food: 5/5
It's slid since our last visit. The risotto, mozzarella ball things forgot the name were not hot enough or didn't have enough cheese and therefore not gooey, and the marinara wasn't great. Really disappointed. My bestie and I ordered cheese cap, it had a not so great texture, it was quite gluey and was very bland, part of it being the boring marinara sauce. I was really annoyed there were really overcooked linguine noodles in mine, it kinda grossed me out, I picked them out. We WERE impressed with the antipasti/ charcuterie board, decent selection and fair price. The pickles were gone fast. Lol The guys ordered steaks with roasted veggies and potatoes. The steaks were cooked properly but they were disappointed in the very small portion of roasted/burnt veg and the 3 or 4 cubes of potatoes each. The plate was sadly quite empty for men who work hard all day, and were paying a good dime. Potatoes are cheap, there should be significantly more on their plate, maybe some herb butter for the steak and potatoes? Nothing we had was excessively memorable or worth repeating. All 4 of us walked out not overly thrilled, a good bit poorer, and had to buy more food elsewhere for the guys within 2 hours of supper. I'm not sure we'll be back for a while. Crown & Beaver up the street is way better.
Despite receiving a confirmation email that our online order was in processing, when we arrived for pickup they knew nothing about it. Stated the “tablet” hadn’t been working. We hadn’t been to Farina in over three years due to their flakiness with open hours in the past. Seems they continue to have an apathy towards actually serving customers. That was the last chance for us.
Wow. I took my mate for his birthday. The mushroom ravioli was the best I have had yet. The service was awesome. Prices are comparable to what we ordered. He had the Sicilian pickeral which he said was a top 10 for him. The ambience was perfect for a romamtic dinner. I will be going back. A fav!
Decor is nice with Italian theme. Had breakfast, eggs benny was good. Coffee tasted like instant? As per other reviews, servers were doing their best but understaffed so slow and tables were not cleared while people looked for seats? Ok to have on your way out in travels but would not make and effort to eat there.
