Very rude and doesn’t even have gelato. You pay before you order and cashier didn’t even know what they had. Would never go back when at ferry terminal. They were rude to everyone in line, not just us.
Friendly service, great all-beef hot dogs!! For reviewers that say it's pricey, it is a tiny booth right at the ferry terminal - you have to expect to pay for the convenience of being able to get something to eat while you're waiting for the boat! I am sure they have to put up with a lot of grumpy travellers!
Stopped by on Aug 1 on our way back to Vancouver. Stopped by the gelato area and asked if they have any sugar free gelato; the gentleman responded; “we can’t make ice cream without sugar” rather abruptly. I guess he knows nothing about ice cream making nor alternatively sweetened ice cream widely available now. A little courtesy towards your customers would be highly appreciated Fandango !
I was just at this location and the lady behind the counter was incredibly rude to my 4 year old daughter. I politely confronted her about it and she wouldn't even apologize! All she would say is, "I don't know what I can tell you, I have 4000 customers a day." We'll, you just lost one of them! My daughter wanted a half and half ice-cream. Lady said no, you have to buy two scoops. She'd never finish that though. That part was fine then she rudely said "Suck it up princess, if you can't afford two scoops." I don't usually complain because I get people have off days but after this interaction... I will make it a goal to tell everyone I know. Don't go there! Where has all the good customer service gone!?!

Stopped by, while waiting for the next ferry. We bought smokeys thinking it would be better quality instead of a hotdog. It has to be the worst smokey I've ever had, it tasted old and stale. They charged me 7.75 plus 1.25 for cheese needlss to say there was barley any cheese. I strongly don't recommend this place, I understand they are trying to make money but I felt totally ripped off.
Came here to get some gelato on a hot day before heading back to Vancouver. They have both dairy and non-dairy options. Needless to say, the actual gelato was really underwhelming. Flavors tasted a bit artificial especially the vanilla and quite basic variety as well. The waffle cone tasted lovely though! Luckily enough I didn’t have a bad experience with the staff.

Went there was trying to order gelato and the woman was super rude about how we we phrasing our order. And kept cutting us off when we were trying to talk. So her hubby served us. Because she was so rude and he was just as rude. And paid $6.50 for 2 tiny scoops.
Went there today on my way into the city. The ladies there were rude and pushy and overall not very nice. Not to mention the fact that the Gelato was not very good and very expensive. Even though it's one of the only places to get treats/snacks at the langdale terminal, I will not be spending my money there in the future.
