The strandard breakfast was so good. It’s been a while since I had a good breakfast from restaurant. I also tried Cappuccino which was good. Customer service was good especially the girl who took my order today. Overall it’s a good place to have food.
Stopped today for breakfast, I am pregnant and I was excited to try their food! I had no idea they put a “sauce” that taste like wasabi on my breakfast sandwich… it was hell spicy…left starving because I couldn’t eat it… other than that, everything else was nice.
Delicious drinks, staff seemed quite pleasant. Too bad there’s not more seating options indoors. Only had coffees and pastries, excited to come back and try the food menu.
I eat where I need to if I’m hungry and there’s not a choice. I make do. I’m a survivor and a semi retired photojournalist. I know the franchise restaurants from the special places. Fancy Pants is in Bridgewater NS and a Favorite. It’s a special Place because they add that little bit of extra love. It not the love of making money …. Nope, it’s the love of baking good food. Creating unique soups and sandwiches that fill my belly and satisfy me. Now I note that I spend a little more but I’ve decided - I’m worth it. I truly am. Upon competition of a snack, breakfast or lunch at FP Im not feeling the loss of my cash - nope I’m feeling the love of good people making good food - for me - cause I’m worth it. NOW I do-no perhaps your worth it too - you can decide. Tom Walker - Bragg Creek/Bridgewater. Vegetarian options: I don’t eat vegetarian because I have to - but here the quality and effort can often just make it the logical choice. Parking: If your worth unique dietary offerings and quality delivered in a friendly atmosphere day after day year after year - I’d take a look. It’s where I’ve gone to year after year. I’m already looking forward to the end of March - my next visit !!!
My mom and I had a lovely lunch on a rainy day. Welcoming staff who had some soup leftover even after the kitchen closed and paired it with a black bean brownie and chai latte. Amazing gluten-free/vegan options and warming atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Food review: The standard breakfast was okay. There was no salt or pepper on the tables. No offer of hot sauce or anything else. Seems strange. Bacon was way overcooked. Eggs were properly cooked and bread was good. Yogurt and granola was good enough. Strange to eat raisins in yogurt. Advice to the restaurant: 1. Acknowledge people when they walk in your front door. Either say hi to them or ask if they are going to eat in or take out. Alternatively, post signs that either say "seat yourself" or "please wait to be seated". Additionally, a sign that says "order here and take a seat" otherwise its assumed that there is table service. 2. Asking for tips is a standard practice for just about every service these days, however, asking for tips and not providing table service while having customers clean up after themselves seems egregious. Either build the tip into the price of the food or at the least clean up the tables. 3. Place salt and pepper on each table. All in all, its a good place for Bridgewater. It gives the impression it will be fancy, but ends up coming off as mediocre. Small changes would really improve the vibe.
What a treat! Love it here! :D Breakfast sandwiches are just amazing!! Coffee is yummy and the staff are all super nice :D All the best x B.Whiteley Carpentry.Food: 5/5
Great coffee and breakfast! I enjoyed the yogourt and fruit bowl, and my husband thought the breakfast sandwich was excellent as well. A very cosy place who is ecologically conscious. I definitely recommend Fancy Pants *****!Food: 5/5
Decent food and coffee, but overpriced and a bit of an unfriendly vibe. Ordered a flat white and latte with our breakfasts and they came out identical. When we paid, they ask for tip which we did at 15% like any standard restaurant however they do not do table service nor pick up after guests, so not sure what I’m tipping. No salt, pepper, ketchup at tables or offer of it when we picked our food up at the counter.
My first experience at this place after being recommended by many friends. It did not disappoint. Place has indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff, and the food was outstanding. I had the Big Vegan Sandwich, and while I am not in fact vegan, it was stellar. The sourdough bread was the star of the show, but everything in it was fresh and local, and the price was very reasonable. If you want real food and support a great local business AND have some real vegetarian/vegan options, this is your spot in Bridgewater, bar none.
