Came for a late night meal at a friend's recommendation. Ordered a three-meal package, which is more than enough for two people at a good deal. The fried calamari was simple and tasty. The eggplant and ground pork was great with steamed rice. The pork belly was too tough for my taste, but the preserved vegetables were on point. The grass jelly dessert was passable, but may be too bitter for most. We barely scratched the surface with the menu. May come with more friends to try other dishes in the future.
We decided to try this place since it’s new and lots of restaurants in the area were closed. We saw the review and thought to give this a try. What a nice surprise! We got a variety of food from their menu and honestly all of them are five stars and must try! 1. Green Beans with Olive Minced Pork: beans were very crunchy and no strings! Other restaurants usually leave the strings in. Minced pork were very generous and the olive bits were tasty. 2. Sweet and sour fish fillet: the fish were perfectly fried and well seasoned. The veggies were not overcooked. The fish tasted fresh and soft. 3. Spicy pepper squid: very crispy on the outside and the squid were still soft and has springy enough texture! The seasoning is salty and spicy enough. 4. Salted Egg Yolk Shrimp: first of all, it’s quite hard to find this in other restaurants in Mississauga. Similar to the other fried stuff we got, this was perfectly fried, crispy, with large shrimps on the inside that’s soft and springy. 5. Pork Intestines with Chili Pepper: perfectly seasoned and paired with the chili pepper and coriander leaves make a perfect combo in your mouth. I rarely ever leave such detailed reviews, but this restaurant is definitely one of the best in Mississauga. It was our first time and the staffs were very kind as well. We’ll come back for sure!
Very authentic dishes with great tastes, very good place for friend's gathering or family celebrations. Will definitely refer to my friends and family: First time take out and send time dine in, both way, dishes tasted very good
We have been there couple times for lunch already. Price is reasonable, food quality is OK and the portion is above average, and place is clean. At times, the staff may be overloaded. Hope they can keep up these levels.
Went there for lunch today, first visit, ordered the fried rice noodles with Szechuan eggplant and minced pork. The rice noodles were crispy but not oily. Eggplant and minced pork were very tasty. If you don't like eggplant , they have same dish with beef in black Bean sauce Owner was very friendly and service was good. Definitely will return
This is our go to place pretty much on a weekly basis. We have tried a good variety of dishes now and all of them have been tasty. On top of that, the value is almost too good for what you are getting.
Had a great experience dining here for the first time with my family. Food was delicious and arrived in a timely manner. The deep fried ribs were amazingly flavoured. The salted egg/pumpkin is always a favourite. Servers are very friendly. Seats are plush and comfortable. The lazy Susan at our table was a little too big, so there was not much room for dishes on the outer table, but otherwise great experience. Cash or debit only here.
This is a small Chinese restaurant. I was given a booth seating on arrival. This is my biggest mistake I have made. After seated at the booth for about 30 min, I started to feel back pain from middle back to lower back. The booth seating is having a fundamental ergonomic issue. The backing is too straight up with no support to your lower back, and the table top is higher than usual. If not of the food quality, it would deserve less than 3-star. The food is good in term of freshness and quality as they were cooked on your order. The daily soup is too watery and plain like water. The service is honestly just OK if you're not regular patrons. I guess the one doing a better job is the owner. When the staff served my first dish, I told her that the soup is not yet served. The soup is usually served before other dishes in Chinese Restaurants. It was very unfortunate that the server didn't even have any eye contact, nor response at all, she put down the dish and walked away. When I was there, there was also a big table with over 10 persons having a gathering party. Their chat made the whole restaurant over noisy not because of the loudness but the fact that the small restaurant was decorated with all hard materials from ceiling to floor. it has a basic acoustic issue that sound are bouncing. Frankly speaking I cannot recommend this restaurant.
The food was delicious and it came very fast! The price was also very affordable. They have various combo meals that you can also choose from. The staff are attentive and the the menu was very extensive. They have various drink options as well.
So yummmyyyy! Best Chinese restaurant in Mississauga no doubt. Staff are very very friendly and the food quality is excellent. Prices are very reasonable. Comparable to Scarborough/Markham Chinese food. Don’t hesitate to stop by here for a delicious meal
