Good food, this place is a gem. Love their daily menu which has intrigued me to try new things that I end up liking. Their open later than most places in the area which is good. Sad their location on queen west is gone. Good food, good service this place is sweet.
Good food, friendly service, lots to choose from on the menu, and the prices are reasonable. We enjoyed the burger just as much if not more than the hot dog, fries could have been a bit crispier for the poutine, but the onion rings were perfectly golden crispy. Despite some people liking the huge hot dog buns, I thought it was a bit too bread-y and overpowers the hot dog. May check it out again because it's very new to the hood.
The Chicago dog was good with fresh toppings and an amazing bun. My only take away is the dog itself. It's a bit tougher than I like. I will try the sausage next.
Decided to go give this place a try everything was good. The staff was friendly very helpful. I just think my corn dog either oil was dirty or it was burnt. Everything else was right on
Fancy Franks ,is it so Fancy? I just discovered that they had opened a shop at Lawrence & Avenue road so I decided to stop in. I went pretty simple on this by ordering the Just Frank combo, as I was waiting for my order I noticed a board above the door on the wall that they have daily $5 special wish I had seen this before placing my order. My order came to $15 which I found a tad pricey since my dog wasn't really very gourmet, any way the order came up and you only get a choice of 4 topping, onions, sauerkraut, banana peppers and one other that I cant recall, not great to limit your customers like that since what I really wanted was some fresh toppings like lettuce, tomato and few other things which they had in a display case, but probably reserved for burgers so bottom line I couldn't customize my plain dog to be a bit more "fancy". Anyway I took the banana peppers and some sauces, the hotdog it self tasted good, the casing had that snap that you want in a hot dog and the bun nice and soft but beware if you go crazy on saucing up your dog the bun will fall apart.
Ordered through Uber eats and it was the first time trying this restaurant. I’m not sure if it was the restaurant or the delivery but the food came absolutely stone cold it took over an hour to get here I ordered the texi mexi and the coney island, after trying a few bites of each I could tell right away it wasn't good and very very oily. Its now left me feeling extremely sick to my stomach. So disappointed
Onion rings were amazing. The hotdog itself was mildly over cooked, however the toppings were spot on
If you like hot dogs and sausages, this place is great!
If you’re a burger and hot dog lover try this location and support local business!
Not bad but I thought the dog would be bigger. I didn't like the chilly on the Coney. I might be back.
