I used to live near this one and it was my first Famous Dave's ever! Great atmosphere, good food...cool experience to visit. The decor is really cool. The food isn't on par with K.C. BBQ joints, but it's pretty decent. We caught them sort of between lunch and dinner, so it wasn't crowded at all aka 'empty' Had a good time!
We ordered the flying pig and a side salad. The things that were great were the wings, chopped pork, and corn bread. The OK were French fries, and Mac and cheese. The not worth it was the rib tips, and side salad. The salad pictured was 6.99... And it was 100 degrees inside. I can't imagine that makes for a happy work environment for the employees.
Truly the ultimate cheeseburger which is its name. It was done to perfection it’s the best burger I’ve had in my life I’m a big fan of famous Dave’s and BBQ across United States. They really know how to cook hear and the service is fantastic. Thank you five thumbs up:
We ordered takeout the flying pig meal + side salad. When I arrived, the temperature was literally the same as outside hot and uncomfortable. I felt bad for the staff, as that must be uncomfortable for them. Food: rib tips were questionable, fries were OK flabby, not crispy, Buffalo wings were insanely good!, Chopped pork was pretty good, muffins were delicious and fresh, Mac and cheese bland, no flavor. The side salad was not worth $7 stale croutons, 1 slice of cucumber, not enough lettuce to share between 2 people. Staff: Very kind, courteous, excellent. Very nice folks, overall. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu. Parking: Parking was available.
Had the ultimate burger it was delicious! burger patty, chopped pork,chedder cheese and bacon! I have ordered food from this location several times and have never been disappointed.
Stopped in to have the All-American Feast. They killed it as usual! Never disappointed when I come here. The girls at the front are always so nice and helpful. Everything was terrific and the entire family loved it.
Quiet cozy atmosphere, we had a nice dinner and enjoyed a meal for two which was enough for four people, very tasty food ... I have only four stars because the corn on the cob was the main reason I ordered the meal for two and it was definitely not fresh, very soft and soggy.Food: 4/5
My Husband and I went and picked up my Dad today and brought him to Famous Dave's in Forest Lake... we decided to go out and have a treat and hang out with him and I ended up getting their Fried Chicken Sandwich and it came with chopped Vegetables also, it was really good and I got an Iced Tea and my Husband Had some of the Ribs and my Dad had a Rib Barbecue sandwich! We got my Dad a Silver Cross that he could wear with some little Diamond inserts in the Cross...as a reminder of Jesus... and it was so cool, he put it on right away!!
Hopefully the chef just had an off night, but my groups "medium rare" burgers ended up pretty well done. Waitress was going to inform the cook and manager, but nothing more came of it.Food: 1/5
Although great service as always.. I was very disappointed at the portion size for pick 2 meal now. They even changed to a cheaper French fry than before and they weren't as tasty. Not sure if I can post picture.. but for $15 I got maybe 10 fries, 3 TINY chicken strips, 4 small wings and a muffin. Thinking they should serve on small plate rather than their trays.
