Friendly and helpful staff with a wonderful assortment of excellent quality yarn, many of the brands Canadian. They also have an excellent selection of notions and accessories for knitting and crochet. There is an extensive use book side of the store as well as a selection of coffee and tea. Great place to visit if you are in Dawson Creek
This is one of Dawson Creeks best little stores. The ladies are always helpful, you can have a bite to eat, have a coffee or just read a book. Amazing atmosphere! One of my favorite places to be on rainy or snowy Saturday!!!
Great bookshop. Has all genres and very affordable. Sit and have a coffee while you are there. Will visit again next time I am in Dawson Creek.
This store has only excellent books. The humour section had me laughing for a half hour. Everyone that works there is friendly but not in your face or pushy. I love it there.
Me and my wife love going in here. The staff is always wonderful and helpful. Especially if you looking for somthing certain. The only reason i didnt give 5 is because somtimes pricing can be a bit high
Wide selection of yarns and crafts and not to mention a great coffee bar.
I was only there for an art class, but the space is wonderful. It smells like paperback books and love. The hint of coffee in the air mixed in to the atmosphere. Such a cool little spot. Perfect for having a hot coffee and picking out your next novel, or shopping for a bit of yarn. Thanks again for allowing Tangled by Elves host paint class.
The store is tasteful, very neatly organized and clean. The books are all in alphabetical order by author. There is a huge selection of books. If you don't see what you want, ask one of the girls. The yarn and knitting supplies are also very well presented. If you are looking for a gift, look at the jewelry and purses. Lovely!! The food is always A++. I have to eat Gluten free and there is a good selection to eat. Especially the cheesecake! Oh and pressed coffee and tea. So many kinds of coffee and tea... Many friends meet here to visit eat and/or knit. Conversations can sometimes evolve into everyone in earshot joining in; sharing, listening, and learning from each other. The 'Open Mike Nights' are an excellent place to come to listen to local musicians, bands, and on occasion comedians. Dawson Creek is home to many talented people. In my experience, 'Faking Sanity' is an all around great place to be! Hope to see you there soon!
Best yarn shop in Dawson Creek and the coffee and baking are delicious too!
Amazing ladies that run it. I love being able to go in a shop and not even have to give my order because they know me. I come in and the question is “espresso?” “Yep” “coming up” it’s awesome that’s what I’ve strived for to get that hometown feel and it really shines through here. Plus the selection of books is unreal. I usually end up finishing my espresso just from browsing here!
