Room was a little bit small, no microwave but you do get a decent sized mini fridge. Great location with lots of green space and shopping all within walking distance. Staff was very helpful and accommodating!
DO NOT RECOMMEND, UNFRIENDLY, UNETHICALnnI booked a room for 4 nights in October 2024 months before my stay. When my parents and I reached the hotel after a 20 hr international journey they couldn’t find it and then said it was not their issue that my booking wasn’t in their system. They asked me to contact booking.com myself and ask for a refund. After 2 hours I had to manually go through their laptop screen and found my name and showed the person there.nnI asked for a refund later as I had already booked another hotel since the receptionist said we didn’t have a booking, and the manager Daniel claims that there were no disruptions. Worst place.
We stayed for two nights recently while visiting family. We left our room at 9:30am Friday and returned after 6pm to find our room had not been cleaned. When I called the front desk to inform them of this, the response was, “did you specify when you checked in yesterday that you wanted your room cleaned?” Say what?!? First of all, this was the same person who had checked us in the day before and the subject of our room being cleaned never came up. We were in Madison at a different Marriott in March and the same thing happened there. What is going on with your housekeeping Marriott? The front desk person at Fairfield assured me the manager would call me on Saturday. Here it is, Monday, and still no call. At least the manager from the other Marriott called me when promised. I am very disappointed and will try Hilton or Hyatt on our next visit we will be in Madison 3-4 times a year visiting my MIL. I do believe both of those hotel chains still offer daily housekeeping.
The hotel looks new and very clean. The staff who checked us in was very friendly. The breakfast area was clean. The choices of breakfast were typical of Fairfield Inn and fresh. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby and in walkable distance.
Fabulous stay and very strong value. Service received upon check-in by Angel was smooth and amazing. He had great knowledge of the area and was very friendly. The room very very nice and of high quality. The location is great next to main roads and close to / within walking distance of restaurants and clothing stores.
