Based upon the reviews, I guess I got lucky when I was in. Staff were helpful in finding things. I was recovering a chair and looking for something a little different. They have a large selection of suitable materials for upholstery covering, and a good selection of foam in alternate thicknesses. I browsed the rest of the store and they seemed to have a good selection of products. The checkout staff didn't seem terribly happy to be there, but the other staff I interacted with were nice.

I always love this location because everyone is very friendly here but today I went to get some fabric and Regina ( older black lady), she was so rude to me for no reason. I couldn't ask any question she gets so irritated and answers so rudely and don't even looked at me while answering which mean she knew she was rude. Regina is very rude and has low customer service skill.

I remember going to Fabricland in Hamilton as a kid and teenager and calling it the grumpy store because the staff seemed to hate it when a customer walked through the door, I was really hoping for a better experience as an adult and at a different location, but sadly this wasn't the case. The cashier, (the receipt says the name was Heather) was incredibly rude and told me I was buying the wrong type of thread, but had no other suggestions to help me. More customer service training for staff may help them be more friendly and helpful.

Fast efficient service -helpful suggestions & extremely knowledgeable on patterns verses fabric I love the place

Great selection but pricey. If what you want isn't on sale, it's too pricey. Staff is either friendly or bordering on surly depending on who helps you and they seem more interested in talking to each other than helping customers.
