Pretty decent selection and quality of merchandise. Always busy, location challenging to get in and out of. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. Customers are helpful as well !

It's a typical Fabricland much like all their other stores. Bright cheery yet sterile. Not many staff on the floor but when we do find one, they are somewhat helpful. They won't really help us rummage through their stacked bolts which I find is the stupidest way to display them. Bolts should either be racked, or vertical in a bin so it is easier to flip through and select one instead of having to excavate it from the bottom of a pile of bolts. Prices can be on the pricey side for some items but they seem to have a good selection of sales in various departments. My only beef with this location is the location itself. They claim their address is Warden and Ellesmere which is true, but if you arrive by bus and don't see it. Look to the north west corner (where the 30 metre tall communications tower is) at the top of the hill at that intersection. People attempting to climb the 20 metres up a 30 degree incline have somewhat made a path along the tree line but it is a hazardous climb in slippery weather. Then the 50 meter trek from the edge of the parking lot to get to the store's entrance which is at the north corner of the building. If taking the Warden 68 bus get off at the next stop on the north side which is Sylla Ave and walk south along an easy slightly down grade which is a lot safer and easier to walk 100 metres south to get to the building than foraging through trees along the property line and a then a long walk for a total of 80 metres if you decide to get off the bus at Warden and Ellesmere on the north side.

I witness a lady firing on the phone one of the employees just because she forgot to look at her shift and therefore didn't come that day. I thought that was very unprofessional and customers to not need to know such things. There aren't enough supplies either and the store looks like it's not well taken care of.

Every time I call or visit, all the staff seem very kind. I don’t know much about sewing, etc, so I found they were very kind and willing to help. The only con is that it can be overwhelming and difficult to find things since there is just SO MUCH stuff everywhere!
