Express Laundromat Of Highland

We used to frequent this establishment quite often....until now. If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband was in doing laundry on a Friday, and at the time, there weren't any customers in there. The owners came in and were washing the clothes that people pay for. The owner wanted the table that my husband was folding clothes at despite all of the other tables being open. My husband stopped momentarily and was looking down at his phone while folding the clothes. The owner asked him, "Are you almost done playing with your phone? We need that table to fold clothes." He was shocked with her blatant rudeness. He said, "excuse me?" because he was so caught off guard and thought he misheard her. She repeated it. MY husband said, " I don't appreciate you talking to me like that." Her husband then yelled that they have a lot of orders to fold. They alienated my husband so badly that he felt he had to move our clothes to another table. She then tries to "fix" the situation by saying, "oh I didn't mean you had to move your clothes. I just meant for you to stop playing with your phone." (How dare she tell someone else what to do with their phone.) My husband then says, "you have customers coming in here paying money." She then cuts him off and says, "oh, I'm going to care if I lose one customer..please..." My husband didn't say anything more to them. Then, after making such a big deal about the table, they didn't even go over and use it!!! What a horrible, unprofessional way to run a business. You should take a class on how to be professional. Ya know, it might not break your bank to lose one customer....but let me tell you, I'm telling everyone I know including local business owners. I'm going to post it on multiple sites. Here is your first lesson in business: Every customer counts. Period. Instead of being a Nazi about phone and table use-age, why not get additional chairs for your customers to sit in, fix your change machine when it doesn't work, clean your washers that have a mildew smell, sweep your place, have a customer bathroom, get air conditioning so your customers are comfortable in the summer, and clean the dryers that smell like skunk.Those would be more useful things to do with your time. They’re open 24 hours but when I use my card to buy a load it charges my card $10.00 on top of the charge of the load! Doesn’t tell me anywhere why and no number to call.
