Great getaway shopping location. This is the number one farmer's market in all of Quebec. There are live auctions, live shows and good country music and food. If you are in the area you must stop here absolutely. The staff is calm and courteous even when under pressure at times of heavy customer service and know how to deal with the prices of antiques in the most professional fashion. Best poutine in the area. The snack counter also offers delicious drinks and hot dogs and corn dogs. There are often cowboys and cowgirls walking about. Not to mention hordes of friendly bikers. This location is also very queer friendly as many of the staff and clientele I have met are queer or gay or lgbtq or trans. There is tons of fresh fruits and vegetables from the region priced to move. You can buy the freshest strawberries, blueberries, peaches, apples, grapes, corn on the cob, flowers, green string beans, yellow string beans, raspberries and cherries here. This is a great place to bring the kids to see live animals such as ducks, chickens, piglets, roosters and chicks. Please do not miss out on hunting for fantastic antiques here; you may discover some essential pieces to your home collection. Neighbors offer parking for approximately two dollars for the day and will gladly watch over your family's vehicle while you shop. The flea market section will also offer you some of the best deals on all sorts of hard to find treasures new and old. Country music sets the tone for this seasonal fair-like location. Please remember to bring your own shopping bags as most sellers will rarely have any to spare at their tables. Also remember to bring an umbrella in case of rain because there is very limited indoor space.

Our group enjoyed the rodeo. The only issue I had was that the outhouses where pretty bad. Everyone was pretty friendly.

I go every year but it's getting a little more expensive as years pass

On y retourne l'année prochaine!
