One of the best places you can go. The staff is very knowledgeable about different products and services. I went in to transfer my mother off my account into her own account. I was helped by a man named Mario. I believe he is the Manager of the store. You can tell he takes pride in representing the company. He answered all my questions and took the time to walk me through the process. He even upgraded my mom the phone she's been wanting. Exceptional service! Great Job Mario!! Definitely coming here all the time!
Wife and I were lucky to have one South East Asian guy who served us. Very friendly and helpful. Went the extra mile in getting up set up as newcomers to Canada. Plans are not cheap but if you work for bank/goverment...tehre are some discount... looking at other reviews... yeah doors are locked and there's security is due to it becing at dundas square.... you'll understand better if you take a good look at the area. lulz. btw, there's a food area just a little further up north if you're up for street food
Friendly service! Cool store where they have rooms where you can test out their products. You can “visit” Pixelville and the employees will show you the different features of the Google Pixel, Nest Hub, Nest Max and Nest Mini. They also have a coffee shop within the store where you can grab coffee, tea, latte or a pastry snack.
Came to return some internet equipment. Honestly one of the strangest retail locations I’ve ever seen. Locked doors on a Sunday afternoon, two hired guards, and a doorbell system. They only let you in if there’s a 1:1 staff available for you. I’ve been to luxury goods stores and banks with less security. Place is totally empty otherwise.
I arrived early in the afternoon on a Monday to find the doors locked. A security guard dressed in full tactical gear unlocked the door, peeked out, and asked what I wanted. After telling her that wasn't a very nice welcome, I told her I wanted to return some cable equipment. She told me to wait in the tiny vestibule with another person who was waiting and locked up again. The store looked to be practically empty. I have no idea what's going on, but this is not how you treat customers or potential customers. I left. I'm hoping to find another store downtown that isn't locked down and customer-hostile as this one. Rogers will have to wait for its equipment.
Went there today to check out the Rogers Ignite internet packages. The guy there, Simar, was very helpful and walked us through the available options in my area. He explained the various options excellently. He also provided great discount based on some ongoing offers. I was very happy to hear the deal and he helped sign up for the plan. The process was very smooth and we were in and out in like 15 mins. Extremely happy with the experience!
4 security guards 4 staff and not one customer other than me still unable to help. Staff look terrified to help a customer or do their job. This store is a joke.
in this store there is extreme protection it seems that it is the white house, about covid-19 The computer systems are very slow, I really don't like that place, but it is very nice and controlled
Interesting space but staff were slow, confused and overall unhelpful. Before even entering the store I experienced an air of disorganization and general confusion. The doors are locked...obviously to control customers due to Covid precautions, no problem but without any signs or a greeting from staff the store seems as if the store has closed very early. After catching eyes with one of the security guards she then looks for a staff member to greet me but it seems as if greeting customers is obviously not their job and they go about their business careful not to make eye contact with the confused woman outside. Finally a very sweet girl comes to the door and asks if I booked online and asks me some screening questions, I go in register and am directed to WeFix where my appointment is booked. I cannot believe I left my phone with the staff at WeFix here, the confusion among them was unbearable but I want to get my phone fixed and you would think getting it done by the original seller Rogers would be the best option. I asked a lot of questions about the complications that seem to have come up but they just said they likely would not be able to repair but rather my phone would have to be replaced. This was fine I asked more questions..."should I just call brightstar and change the claim?" "If a replacement was to be issued would I get it at the store today" they weren't sure and called a manager. Ok we are going to go ahead with attempting to repair the device, they give me a confusing bill and my sim card and tell me to return in 2hrs. The woman doesn't know how to explain why the bill is for $400 and just tell me to ignore the numbers what?!?! as I already paid online there are no additional charges. The man working the desk seemed very new and by the end of it I asked if I should just take my phone back and refile my claim as I was not feeling too confident in this attempted repair but he assures me they will do their best and worst case I will be issued a repair and then just have to mail my phone back to Brightstar. As I feared when I picked up my phone it was worse off, I was there for a cracked screen but now the touch sensors all along the bottom of the screen don't work at all and my phone is completely useless. I have to wait until business hours to call and refile my claim, I would have been able to just deal with the broken screen but now I am basically forced to get the replacement!!! Also all my messages have disappeared after myself and the man making sure my iphone had the right settings and was backed up.
Was helped by Alonso and my number wasn't ported properly only my sim card, even though I double asked if everything is okay before I left. Had to wait an hour with Live chat to do that, which should have been done in the store. Luckily I still kept the Freedome sim card, otherwise it would have been super complicated.
