Great food, great staff, great service. What more could you want? The menu has a good variety of dishes over breakfast, lunch, and dinner and a rotating selection of delicious desserts. Staff are always attentive, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile.
Stayed in the hotel and ate here for the evening. BBQ poutine was absolutely amazing. Sweet and salty and perfectly crispy fries. Would highly recommend if you are staying in the hotel or stopping in.
Stopped here while driving between Moncton and Quebec. We are so glad that we did! This restaurant vastly exceeded expectations; we only knew about it because of signs on the highway. Everything that we had was made to order in-house. Absolutely delicious from the soup, to the burger and butter chicken. We ended the meal with a well made cappuccino and a well made cheesecake. If you’re driving through be certain to take a stop here!
Great food for anyone staying at the Amsterdam Inn, for travelers on the road or locals. I enjoyed two breakfasts and a supper here. The menu is sufficient and not too full for the still up and coming place. The staff was very courteous and mindful of wearing masks and cleaning/disinfecting. I did find it a little cool for the temperature so I recommend a sweater.
Overall a great place to wait a long time then be disappointed I went here with my grandmother. we waited outside the restaurant at the front of the line for a long period of time. even though there was a nearly empty bar we could have sat at and other tables seemingly clean. We waited at the table and watched someone who was sat down after us, be served first. then we were served afterwards. She ordered the Pecan Buttermilk Pancakes with bacon, and clearly asked for PLAIN pancakes multiple times with nothing on them. They brought out the works on these pancakes and tells us "but that's how it comes" doesn't replace it or anything. I ordered the Farmers Breakfast, which seemed like a good idea. but the food was piled on like plate like slop and the meats were all mixed together. Pancakes were cold, and from a box seemingly. And the eggs yolk was solid and not like my order. Also the black napkins are cheap, the dye runs and can stain your face or fingers.
Absolutely disappointing food! Ordered a chicken Caesar salad and it came with chunks of chopped up ICE COLD chicken in the bottom of the bowl with the lettuce on top of it with way to much dressing for most peoples liking. The chicken also had no flavour or taste what so ever it was quite gross to be honest. Totally not worth the $19.00 they charge for it. My sons kids burger & fries was good. My husband ordered the butter chicken and it was extremely spicy but overall tasteless other then the gut punching spice from it, he said it was the worst he’s ever eaten and barely any chicken on it. For $20.00 you’d think they’d add a good amount of chicken not just a few pieces. Overall don’t waste your hard earned money here, you’ll probably end up leaving hungry and disappointed.
Our waitress was rude and made the experience awful. After messing up my order, she only gave a 25% discount to a meal I did not eat and returned shortly after bringing it. Do not recommend going.
I have been visiting 153 for over a year now, and I have yet to not enjoy my meal. The haddock for lunch was always the solid fish, as it should be. I enjoy the salad maneuvers that test the tastebuds, today it was salmon seared in a crisp sauce, love it/ possibly a new fav. The staff are warm and friendly, breakfast is a joy with Cindy and the ladies making a hard start turn into a great experience in my day. Coffee fresh, which I like and the chef puts a massage on my tastebuds, a terrific place, come to enjoy and break bread… Vegetarian options: I toy with vegetarian diet , and something is available to chomp into free of animal product, their meat is lean all the same Kid-friendliness: I notice wee ones enjoying themselves, they are smiling and upbeat Parking: Easy parking and it is clean of snow and hazards, at all times Wheelchair accessibility: My cousin is a quadriplegic and it is accessible for him with ease. Dietary restrictions: I have no health issues, but I notice gluten free items
Omg it was amazing the food is the most delicious thing I have ever had I will definitely be a regular customer at this amazing restaurant the waitress Melissa was amazing She was so kind Every time I go out to eat and come in here five stars
The food was excellent and looked great on the plate as well, the service was also very attentive. The restaurant also feels very warm, and happy.
