I highly recommend Morgan and the group at Evolution. I've been going here weekly to help with recovery from a bad ankle sprain and genuinely look forward to it week after week. Morgan is an expert at what he does and an all around great guy - he explains every technique he takes when stretching my ankle/foot and gives me stretches to do at home in my free time. I went into my treatment unable to run, and now I am able to run miles again. On top of that, Zach at the front desk is the friendliest person ever and also takes a genuine interest in every patient that walks through the door. Lastly, facilities are A+ - clean, modern equipment, and a lot of it. All around, this is an all star crew that you won't regret seeing if you're in need of PT.
I worked with Morgan for about 18 months. My therapy included post-op hip surgery recovery and chronic head, neck, back, and hip pain. Morgan used his vast knowledge and expertise in the area of myofascial physiotherapy to address my chronic issues to allow me to be pain free. He also gave me an exercise plan that I can do to maintain the progress we achieved. I have been in other facilities for PT where I had 30 minutes of time with the therapist, then was told to go off on my own while they started working with another client. At Evolution, you get dedicated time with the therapist. They also offer other treatment modalities like cupping and dry needling. I had a great experience with the team at Evolution and would highly recommend them to anyone.
Lisa Kanning, Physical Therapist, with several other important certifications, including dry needling, deep tissue facial massage and cupping, at Evolution Sports Physiotherapy is wonderful! I’m a long distance runner and my entire body has to be in tiptop shape in order to continue to run and recover quickly! 2 months ago August 2022 I came to Lisa with a hamstring issue; and let her know it was an emergency that I needed it rehabbed, or I could not run in the New York City Marathon on November 6, 2022. With Lisa’s specific hands on treatment plan including stretching, strengthening, deep tissue fascia massage, dry needling and cupping, I am not only ready to run the New York City Marathon, but my future running will be greatly improved; now that I have a very strong foundation. I highly recommend Lisa Kanning at Evolution Sports Physiotherapy!!
Highly recommended. After spending 12- weeks at a regional chain PT practice, my doctor strongly encouraged me to seek the services of Evolution Sports Therapy to maximize my recovery. I was fortunate to work with Lisa and in hindsight, I wish I had started with her immediately after my surgery. She is a highly skilled, compassionate and motivational practitioner. Lisa went the extra mile to develop an exercise program to mirror my required job functions to ensure I was ready for my annual physical readiness evaluation. After 2 weeks seeing doctors for a pulled back. A friend recommended Evolution Sports. They were quick to schedule, easy to work with and took a very fair amount of time to listen. For 2 weeks I was in surreal pain and walked out without an ounce of pain. I don’t look forward to any injury but know who I will call first if it happens. I highly recommend Evolution Sports for all your physical therapy and strengthening needs. Chris Mooney was incredible to work with during my 3 months of PT. He provided a wealth of knowledgeable about treatment options and exercises customized to my needs. Chris continued to challenge me throughout my therapy which advanced me closer to my goals. Not only did I find PT to be a worthwhile investment for my recent issues, but I also acquired lots of knowledge that will contribute to long term health. The entire Evolution Sports staff is friendly and professional, and it’s very apparent they are passionate about what they do. The facility itself is clean, offers flexible weekday hours, and has a great variety of equipment. Thanks to an amazing experience at Evolution Sports, I know I will definitely be back again.
Evolution Sports was great. Back in the late winter I was there for pain in my knees and eventually I injured my back also. Chris Mooney was the PT that I saw and he was awesome. Super easy going and knew what he was talking about. He does dry needling and that made my pain melt away pretty quickly, in addition with the strengthening exercises he taught me. I am grateful to have been referred here by my coworker. Keep up the good work! :
I came to Evolution Sports Physiotherapy after having a recent bunionectomy. I had never had physical therapy before and was worried I wouldn't be able to do the same physical activities I was doing prior to the surgery. I was treated by Chris Mooney and had a great experience. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and patient through the whole process. He was able to help me get a lot of range of motion and strength back in my foot and ankle and provided me with exercises to continue my improvement. I was able to run and jump comfortably for the first time this week. I am so grateful for Chris for helping me get back to normal. I would highly recommend Chris and the rest of the Evolution staff to anyone.
I went to see Erin for some neck and back issues and the treatment she provided was amazing. I feel huge improvement after only one session. I would absolutely pay double considering the level of quality compared to other providers I have tried.
Every person in my family has come to Evolution Sports Physiotherapy for injuries ranging from shoulder surgery; torn meniscus surgery; patellar tendinitis; tight hips, knees and IT bands; second/third degree ankle sprains; and back pain. I have come to Evolution Sports Physiotherapy for three different unrelated injuries and have worked with several of the therapists. I have always received great care and seen serious improvement with each injury I have come in for, and I leave pain free! I never want to leave because everyone who works there, from the receptionists to the therapists are all very personable. Evolution Sports Physiotherapy therapists are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I have worked with several of the therapists, and it is hard to pick a favorite because of how much each therapist cares for bettering the patient who first walked through their door. This past fall I injured my ankle during the third day of volleyball tryouts, and I knew that the most efficient way of getting back on my feet was to do rehab for the next several weeks with people I knew could help me reach my goals of playing full time. I worked with both Chris Mooney and Chris Burton, and both were awesome! Both very personable, but also very challenging. After getting to know my strengths and weaknesses, they helped me achieve goals I did not know I could reach. Evolution Sports Physiotherapy is definitely the place to go if you have any sort of pain you need help fixing. Each member of my family never has any worries because they know Evolution Sports Physiotherapy will give us the results we are looking for. I have made great relationships with everyone I have met, and thank them for all of their efforts and dedication with each one of my sessions. I look forward to potentially working with them in the future, as a potential business associate.
