Story

Established in May 1993, with over ten years experience of driving education, EverGreen Driving School is one of the largest Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) approved Beginner Driver Education (BDE) schools. Our school is located in the city of Scarborough, adjacent to Highway 401, as well as along many TTC routes.
Over the years, students improve the skills to drive on the road and obtain their driver licences successfully with the help of our programs of in class and in car lessons.
All of the Evergreen Driving School instructors are very friendly and patient. They are all MTO qualified and approved by Toronto. Their schedules are flexible and very accommodating to schedule of our students. All in car appointments are held one to one bases between the student and instructor. We have instructors available in various dialects like, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien , Hakka, and Shanghai.
Our in class courses are available year round, weekend through the fall and winter. With your preference, our in class courses are available in English. Instructed by specialists, these courses cover very broad topics like auto insurance, decision making when purchasing a vehicle and vehicle maintenance, etc. If you are unable to attend a session you can always make it up at any point during a period of one year.
Upon completion of the 4-class in class course and 10-hour in car lessons, your student driver record will be updated through MTO, certifying your completion of the BDE course. You can then start enjoying the possible discount off your insurance premium.

大通驾驶学校成立于一九九三年五月，有十多年的教学经验，是安省交通部(MTO)认可的大型驾驶学校。学校座落于士嘉堡东城商业中心，交通方便。
　　多年来，众多的学员在学校和教练的培训下，通过考牌，取得驾证。所以华人社区中流传着一句话：“大通，大通，一点就通”。
　　本校凝聚着近50位专业持牌、品德优良、技术高超的教练精英。本着对学员负责的专业精神，为使每一位学员能尽快掌握到一套安全的驾驶意识和良好的驾车技能热诚地工作。每位 教练都为能在大通驾校工作而骄傲。学校能接待各种来自不同国家和地区的学员。可以提供英语、国语、广东话、闽南话、客家话、上海话服务。通过在大通驾校的理论和技术培训，考牌成功率极高，为将来在路面安全驾驶奠定了良好的基础。
　　本校有优质的服务和完善的管理制度，理论课程是循环制，最快一星期内可以完成，另一显著特色是多年来的英语授课班，专门服务本地土生、留学生和英语人士。吸引着许多只喜欢听英语的学员，包括不少其他族裔的学员。学校定期还会聘请专业人士来授课。如讲到保险课程时，会请保险界的专业人士来讲解。讲到如何购买二手车和汽车的维护和保养时，会请持牌的汽车修理技师来授课。
　　学员只要完成了四次不同内容的理论课程加上１０小时的路面实习，即可获得安省政府颁发的减保险证书，保险折扣最高可达48％。
