Evans MacIsaac MacMillan prides itself on its commitment to the community. Its lawyers have taken leadership positions in the Cape Breton community in the founding of the Board of Port Hawkesbury Food Bank, by serving as President of the local Rotary Club, and by assuming key roles in local sports associations including the Strait Area Minor Baseball Association, the Strait Area Curling Club, and the Strait Area Minor Hockey Association.
LOCATION
The firm organized the building of the office space that it currently occupies at 409 Granville Street, Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia in 1991. Its members, believing in the culture of Cape Breton and having developed a thriving business over the last 50 years, continue to welcome new associates to join their practice.

ABOUT US
The practice of Evans MacIsaac MacMillan was commenced by Gerald J. Doucet in 1961. It has gone through a number of transformations during its 50 years.
Its former partners include Gerald J. Doucet (former MLA for Richmond County from 1963 – 1974) and the Honourable F.B. William Kelly (appointed to Family Court in 1984 and Supreme Court in 1985).
The careers of the current partners, L.K. (Larry) Evans, Q.C., Harold A. MacIssac, Hugh MacIsaac and Wayne J. MacMillan total well in excess of 100 years. The firm became EMM Law Incorporated in 2003.
