i have trusted the maintenance of my cars to european and domestic for the past 8 years, with just cause. In 2008 I bought a new car that came with a factory warranty, early this summer my check engine light came on and there was noise coming from the engine.5 visits to the dealer and the problem was yet to be solved. that's when "George" saved the day. he figured out that the problem was a sensor and the engine noise was an adjustment. all this was done professionally and promptly. unlike the dealer the car was bought from. the reason I decided to write this review now is a rebuttal to RI-DI-CU-LOUSY. i can honestly say that i am a repeat customer and will continue to have faith in George and his team of mechanics. yes folks there still is magic in manual mechanics.

I brought my '98 A4 in to this guy, George, for some work in August while my regular mechanic was on holiday. He quoted me $1100 and charged $1700 plus tax and claimed he was giving me a break on the hours they put in. Two weeks later, all the things he worked on are having problems 2 and when I take it back to him he tells me I need to put another $700 into it to fix the "new problem". When I told him I'd take it back to the regular mechanic instead he delivers the car with a huge scrape on the rear bumper and denies that it happened while the car was in his possession. All this time he has the nerve to look me straight in the eye and tell me that they guarantee their work and would fix it if they had left that mark on the car. It's one thing to pay a mechanic who's incompetent but makes up for their errors. Your just going to pay this guy to do shoddy work and then swear up and down how honest and great a mechanic he is!
