It is a hidden gem - if you want to have feel of being at La Fortuna, Costa Rica, this is the place to be close to home. Ideal view is from the other side of the falls across the stream. Good to come is right after the rain.
Beautiful spot. Highlighting the beauty of Ontario and specifically Grey County. Will visit again.
Eugenia falls is a spectacular sight to see. Well worth the 1.5hr drive from the kitchener/waterloo area. Lots of parking although you do have to pay through an app which was extremely easy to do. The falls are a very short walk from the parking lot. But if you really want to take in all the beauty this conservation area has to offer I suggest to follow the creek as far down as you can then walking the rocks back up to the falls. Once at the bottom of the falls you truly get to see the beauty of the falls.
Nice conservation area 2 hours from Toronto. The trail starts from the falls into the woods for about 3.5 km ending with a beautiful view from the high point of the forest. Looks amazing in fall. The trail does not make a loop, so you need to return the same path. Good sight of the falls at the start of the trail. I was a little disappointed as usually you get to the scenic point after having made effort on the trails. Well that's normally my incentive. But then at the end of the trail the sight was quite breathtaking so it all ended well. PS: The staff said the trail goes up to Tobermory, if one is feeling really enthusiastic ;
A wonderful place for a family hike. Our daughter loved the ridges trails, the old abandoned building and bring able to check out the river upstream. There is a beautiful, albeit small area from which the whole falls can be viewed. We didn't check out all the trails, and didn't make it down to Boggs Falls little feet get tired, but really enjoyed ourselves.
Excellent hiking with well marked trails. Definitely worth a day trip. We found ourselves here on a cold windy day with a few isolated rain/hail showers, but still enjoyed the hike. The trails are well marked with blazes to follow but be sure to understand the blaze markings since there are a few “unofficial” side trails that you could maybe get lost on. The viewpoint is quite simple and if you hike upstream towards the bridge in order to cross to the other side, you will find some of the old original structures along the way. I would have given 5 stars but there is graffiti on the old structures and I picked up some garbage and beer cans along the trails and couldn’t find a garbage can to discard to waste I picked up.
We love the canyon, the thick green trees, and the falls. We love the hike, and the view was amazing.
Gorgeous Autumn colours and serene ambiance of flowing river. The titular falls weren't much to gawk at, but the river leading in to it is a must-see. Some parts of the river may be shallow enough for hikers to stand on rocks and be surrounded by rushing waters.
Beautiful scenery. The falls is taller than expected. The valley is dense with trees. Worth a stop and short hike. Also, there is a nice WW1 memorial nearby.
Great water fall, worth the drive to stop and see it as well go for a little hike. Need to be careful if hiking as there is no fence and is a big drop. Would recommend to go check out. Very nice spot.
