Sliced my finger open and would have had to wait hours at a hospital to get stitches. All the walk-ins in my area high park were either booked for the day or closed. I called in and the receptionist was very sweet. She took my health card number and told me to come in. Upon arrival, I was brought directly into a room and the nurse saw me immediately and helped clean my wound. The doctor was in shortly afterwards 2 minutes tops and promptly began stitching me up. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable, which is saying a lot considering he was repeatedly pushing a needle through my skin. After that, I was on my way! Spent about 15 minutes total on what could have taken 15 hours at the hospital. Excellent service, pleasant staff, and a convenient location. Great snack options around for when you're done. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
Please have doctors there that can actually do their job because the care that I was shown today was absolutely unacceptable. No proper diagnosis and tapping fingers on the desk as if he doesn’t have time for my issue. This is fifth time I have encountered this doctor here and has done absolutely nothing for me but rush me out. i hope you guys fix this issue as someone of that nature should not be overseeing the care of families that come in and out their trust into you all. I genuinely feel bad for the receptionists because you guys need to have a better plans in place for all of the patients you have to see on a daily basis. Good day !
Took my daughter to clinic on October 13/2022 at ucc, lady told me to register on phone , which did, after waiting in the car for almost one and half hour sorry our system is not working , then she register at door the we still have to wait inside, there is no first come first serve, absolutely no good place to go. It took more time in walk in clinic then hospital waiting room. Don’t waste time. Protect yourself don’t waste time in walk in clinics, stay safe
I took my 4 year old for the first time. My experience was really good. I waited about 1hour. The doctor assessed my daughter and explained everything very well. My interaction with the staff at the front was pretty good too. I went on Sept 12, 2022.
SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. My situation was urgent but it was not worthy of an emergency room visit, I arrived at this "clinic" at 9:10pm. The receptionist was very helpful and patient with me, she assisted me with registration and was very friendly. That is the only good thing I could tell you about my experience. The waiting room was empty so I was seen within 10 minutes. I was greeted by the most careless, irresponsible doctor I have ever encountered. He used his bare hand during my assessment, had no knowledge of my condition and was googling it in front of me. Then told me that it appears "fine". He was downplaying my symptoms verbally and in the documentation. As I gave him more information he seemed bothered and then stated " I don't know what you would like me to do, there is nothing I can do for you." I told him that he is a doctor and should behave as such, I am coming to him because I do not want to hold up an emergency room with my condition and that he was not putting any effort into my care. He laughed and said " you think this is an emergency." I told him that I do not care about what preconceived notions he had of me based on my appearance and condition . He then told me " I have never seen anything like this and I do not know what to do." I would've been okay with that explanation from the beginning because I don't expect him to know everything but if I didn't know how serious my symptoms were I would've left there thinking I was perfectly fine. I explained to him that if he had no knowledge you should not be telling patients they are fine and should be referring them to a specialist in order to get the proper care. I left there feeling defeated and helpless. I went here despite seeing the terrible reviews because I felt like I was in a desperate situation and was in need of answers quickly. I wish I would've been more patient and saved my time. This doctor should be investigated for his negligence.
I took my Aunt today for stitches. She is 82 and everyone from the assistant, nurse and Doctor were amazing. I have a renewed confidence in our healthcare system because of professionals like you. God Bless and Happy New Year to all. Thank you so much.
Best place so far I found. I took my 4 year old yesterday. Rest all clinic including pediatric emergency or walk in they just have to say 1 thing Tylenol Advil. Child is sick since 10+’days and they don’t look up to child. And they say fever is sign of covid - we won’t take. Found this clinic Dr. A. Kessie looked on to my daughter, he listened what all I had to say. That’s what we want - that our problem are being listened. And prescribed a medicine which was needed. Thank you System is little strange that we drop message then they call in , I wasn’t familiar with. But came out satisfied. Over all.
Worst of the worst urgent care. I would never advice anyone to waste their time going to this miserable clinic. Staffs, supervisor and how things are managed are so unprofessional and extremely rude. I have made my registration in the morning online, received a call to come and after asking if there is long wait I was told not at moment. Went there right away and had to wait outside in the cold weather with my child coz they wouldn't open the door. Why was I told to come there if I had to wait freaking 15 ppl ahead of me and what's was the point of registering online if I had to wait for that long.. This rude and unprofessional staff called Kamal was so rude and wanted to keep me and my child outside in the cold weather to wait. She wouldn't even allow me to speak to the supervisor. After long argument she came back and said supervisor isn't available, I guess the supervisor Deena didn't want to see me. Honestly very disappointed how patients are treated. They don't even have the compassion for a child who was very sick. I had to walk away without seeing the doctor coz I couldn't keep my sick child there any longer. I booked my appointment in the morning and was told to come 4pm, I stayed there till 640pm and still there were still 7 ppl ahead of me. Very disappointed and would never in my life go there or suggest anyone to go there..i gave zero rating. I will report this clinic how bad patients are treated.
I am thoroughly disgusted with the treatment and lack of care at this place. I have left numerous msgs asking if results for an ultrasound have come back and also to make follow up appt as my hand is still swollen, bruised, and raging in pain. Why have a clinic if you can not be bothered returning calls and lack professionalism? No appts are needed. You are told to come by before 8:30 pm after they take your info. Then they call you and tell you to come by before 8 pm. When you arrive, several other people are waiting as well. You are expected to call them/text them. They call you in one at a time. I had to ask if they had a seat for me to sit in as I have a cane. The girl had to see. I eventually was permitted in to sit. I'd like to know what the point is in having voicemail if you choose to ignore it. Furthermore, they need to speak clearer and not so rushed as it is very difficult to understand what they are saying. They called me 2 weeks later and asked me to call them back. I did and got voicemail again. My message was not a pleasant one
Been going here for years. Great service. They usually have a lot of clients on their plate but they still do their best to remain positive. The new phone call only restriction has posed some difficulty, but the new system is still workable
