This store is the cleanest Asian store I've been in. It's so organized & offers so many great deals. You can find fresh fruits, live fish & crabs & very excellent quality meat.h family also enjoyed the cooked food they offer. I highly recommend this place.
Just uncovered this Asian supermarket. It has a good variety of Asian vegetables, snacks and drinks. It has sushi and fresh bakery in store. It also serves fresh cooked Chinese meals. We are having fun exploring this store and trying out food from different nations. Some of the vegetables are a bit pricey comparing to local stores. A little home work will help to save some money.
I heard good things about the Ethnic Supermarket, so I decided to check it out today because I was looking for some octopus . There is a HUGE selection of everything you could possibly want that you can’t find at a traditional supermarket. That being said, I personally found the prices to be more expensive if you were to buy elsewhere. The store is quite large and relatively clean. I went to the fresh fish area to the back end of the store and although everything was “on ice” … I just couldn’t bring myself to buy anything… water looked merky and a little too fishy smell for my liking. There is pre made food that was plentiful that you can pick up for lunch. They also have Knick knack things from pots to bamboo steamers to chopsticks.nAlways fun to experience new stores and produce from other cultures.nnThe parking is ample.
I’ve been told there’s a great Asian supermarket in Guelph. So we stoped by and tried to find something to eat on our way back from a weekend trip. There’s a lot of Asian snacks and drinks. I was amazed when I saw the whole sushi fridge, I had so many options. The tattoo sushi guy was professional. I told him I was the first time there and asked for his advice. He recommended Ethnic combo as it contains all signatures, but it always sold out rapidly like the day I went. Tattoo guy made me a fresh one in minutesdelicious and even better than some sushi restaurant. I had it along with Salmon Town, both great! End up buying a lot of unexpected things. Highly recommended.
Very nice supermarket for all your international ingredients. There is a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Their meat department also has a halal section and is priced very competitively. I would rather shop here for meat than most places due to the price and quality. There are butchers on site.nnSeafood section is also nice and clean. Does not have that strong fishy smell like some places in downtown Toronto.nnVery pleased we have something like this in our city.nnThere is ample parking, and is wheelchair accessible.nnThe road is very busy so good luck trying to make a left turn out the parking lot.
