Amazing sandwiches, really authentic tastes. Had the Reuben and it was so fresh and tasty. Awesome staff, the son of the owner is an extremely hard worker and had great customer service. The other girl employee was standing there picking her nails while the son was running around and there was a line up. She was not even aware what was going on, and on another planet. I could tell the son had to really make up for her lack of effort so A+ for him.
We went here on a whim and we're wonderfully surprised. The classic Rueben sandwiches were delicious with regular fries and I would have been content without eating anything else all day. It was that good! Along with lovely service from the staff, I will definitely be coming back here!
We live about a half hour drive away, but it was totally worth coming out to Langley just for this. Having recently returned from a trip to Montreal, I can say this is pretty much as good a smoke meat sandwich as you can get short of flying across the country. Poutine was wonderful, my brother's Rueben was absolutely mouthwatering. I think my panini could have been pressed a bit longer, it didn't have the nice grill marks, but it still tasted great. Make sure to ask for marbled meat or even the juicy meat if you don't mind it being extra fatty.
The beef was a bit too dry for me but overall it was good. The poutine was incredible, the fries were like fish and chips, the gravy had so much flavour but not overly salty or heavy and the cheese was soft and not too dry.
I've been away for a bit and decided to visit my favorite spot. The new menu had recently changed and my favorite Oh Canada see second photo was my reason for visiting. This is now off the menu, however it still exists as a "hidden menu item" . So next time you boys and girls visit and aren't aware..... now you know.
Nice little local deli. Their gravy tastes great and really love their pickle choices on the side. We tried their Reuben, poutine, and Turkey deli sandwich. All were tasty and worth a try, if you love sandwiches.
For those living in western Canada - this is the place to go to if you crave for Montreal Smoked Meat. It is not as good as what you get from Montreal and those famous restaurants, but here in Langley you can have a smoked meat sandwich almost as taste, plus the portion is bigger. Nice balance of meat and mustard. Pickle is also good but not very sour.
My wife just got me the breakfast panning and it was after 3. They don't serve it after 3 and they were kind enough to make it for her anyway. This is LITERALLY THE BEST breakfast sandwich I have ever had. They male their own smoked meat and it's truly melt in your mouth smokey, salty perfection. I recommend this spot to anyone craving a delicious sandwich that will literally warm your soul!
I liked the sandwich and the meat is great, I ordered the Reuben double meat. I wish it had thicker slices of bread, but that's nothing against this sandwich, its a classic Reuben, i just think they deserve more bread.
Can you leave 10 stars? Well 5 will have to do. Wow, what an outstanding Rueben. Such a simple sandwich, but for some reason is hard to get the ratio right for most places. Estrella's does an outstanding. I am trying to figure out anything I would change about the Reuben, but it was perfect. I will most definitely have that sandwich again - provided I can make it out to that area during opening times again.
