Estoria Pizzeria

Ordered from here randomly as it was nearby and really enjoyed it! Got some large cheese pizzas and mini donuts and the teen age girls LOVED it all. There was tons of cheese and the crust was cooked perfectly. The tomato sauce was fantastic. They strive for perfection too. The oven had cooked our pizzas weirdly and they wouldn’t even serve them to me and needed to redo them. They discounted 10% to account the extra time I had to wait. Would come back here if I was in the area!

Ordered from here through skip the dishes. It took over an hour to arrive and when it did arrive the food was all cold and soggy! Especially the chicken tenders and fries. I had to recook them. You can see in the pictures Not only that, but the pizza tastes good but $17 for the size in the picture is far too much. I won't be ordering from here again sadly.

This is the second time we ordered Estoria first time takeout and second time skip the dishes and we were not disappointed. The sauce is so unique and flavourful and we loved the crispy crust. My favorite part was the personal touch of asking for no onions on my pizza and the staff giving me a little container of them with a funny note. It literally made us laugh out loud and thought is was so sweet!! It’s so nice to know there are workers there enjoying their job and you can tell by the quality of pizza they serve! Thank you Estoria for the laugh and yummy dinner!

Decided to give this pizza place a try, ordered delivery. My husband and I really enjoyed the pizza, I had the pepperoni, mushroom and peppers and he had the pepperoni and mushrooms both were delicious. My husband ate the entire slice which he usually doesn’t eat the end crust, so that says something! Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Words cannot express how I feel as a first time customer to this pizzeria. Extremely friendly, organized and quick service from the minute I entered and until I left with my food. The food was excellent - pizza was hot and delicious, and they have speciality handmade Greek style baklava that was by far the best I have had in my life for those with a sweet tooth. I am from Edmonton and they really made a good impression on me. I will definitely patron this pizzeria any chance I get when I am in Calgary. Thanks for a great first time experience Estoria Pizza. You guys are awesome.

Tried this place for the first time because it’s really close to my office. The staff are fantastic. Very friendly, everything was made quick, hot and fresh. The toppings were all good and the crust was perfect. So why only 3 stars?…. It’s the sauce. I had heard from quite a few people in my office that everything is good except the sauce. I can’t quite describe exactly what it is about the sauce. It’s too sweet for sure but there’s something else I. There that doesn’t belong. I get almost a cinnamon vibe but that can’t be right can it? Anyways, fix the sauce, or offer people a choice of sauce, and I think this place could be a real hit. Anyways that’s just my opinion and I’m sure there are some people who like the sweet sauce but it’s a no go for me. I hope they expand or replace their sauce options in future.

I did not like the pizza sauce same with my husband way too sweet very different. Very chintzy on the cheese and overcooked. Showed up an hour and a half and it was cold. After the first piece I try to scrape all the sauce off nope. so I thought I'd just eat the toppings nope. we end up throwing it out. lesson learned

2 stars for being OK. Cheese is great. Liked the crispy cheese edges. Toppings were sadly on the lean side. Crust was good but in no way like the old school Greek style thick pan crust.Those days seem to be long gone from Mediterranean pizza places from the 80’s and 90s. Those used to be everywhere in Calgary back then but have been slowly dwindling. Still a few old ones around but most of them have downsized their pizzas as well. Crusts are now thinner, cheese and toppings are less. My kids will never get to experience a 4” thick pizza pie from Hawaiian Pizza at the Red Carpet Steak House. Half an 8” and you were stuffed! Anyway, the only thing I really didn’t like here was their pizza sauce. Has a sweet flavor to it that doesn’t seem to compliment the rest of the pizza and somewhat overpowers it. Seemed almost like a canned spaghetti sauce. Prego comes to mind sorry. Was a really bizarre taste. Similar sweetness to Western pizza’s sauce but much thicker. Which in turn coats your mouth and masks all the other flavors with sweetness. To each their own. I prefer my sauce with some zest. Just my opinion. Perhaps you will like your sauce that way.

Tried this place for the first time and thought the pizza was amazing. Had the bbq chicken but added garlic flakes, chilli flakes, and oregano, as well as jalapeño. The ceasar salad we ordered was just okay so probably wouldn’t get that again. Staff was really friendly too

Been here a few times. I quite enjoy their pizzas. Had a half order lasagna today and it was the perfect portion for one person. Also tried the cheese bread and it's delicious. People who reside nearby have a gem of a pizza place to access here. Highly recommend.
