Ed was very welcoming, Friday/Saturday's have a vegetable stand with quality foods
My mother and I were extremely low on gas, after driving for many hours on the 401. At around 9:15pm we arrived at this gas station, with basically no gas since there isn’t many stations open. Their website said they were open. We were told we can’t pump gas since the “electric wasn’t working”. The lights and everything were on just fine but somehow the electric wasn’t working? The employee didn’t care at all and I understand he doesn’t get paid to help but he had absolutely no compassion and I believe he was the owner. Older man, dark hair, didn’t stop watching tv for anything. Since we had no other way of getting gas, and were far away from home/anyone we know, we had to call roadside assistance and spend around $200 for 10litres of gas. By the time the truck got us our gas and left, magically the whole place was closed when the guy thought we were gone. Seems as if someone just wanted to go home early…. I hope this man doesn’t have a wife or daughters, I feel bad for them if he does.
Absolutely disgusting gas station needs everything to be renovated, the coolers have no lights and the glass on the doors of the coolers is so dirty and you walk in and an absolutely disgusting smell greets you what a dishonor never walking into there again.
SENIORS BEWARE....?!?!!?!...... I am in my late 30's. Went in here wanted to redeem some of my PC optimum points they have a deal where you can redeem 4000 points and get $4 off your gas bill. I put $50 in my gas tank and went inside and asked to redeem 4,000 points, which I would have been paid $46 for the gas. In fact I paid $50 I lost 4,000 points off my pc optimum.nWHY I SAY SENIORS BEWARE is very simple if he is going to try this with someone my age what is he going to try with someone he believes may not know better or may not catch the mistake??? It definitely has me wondering.
I find it unacceptable that this gas station charges 11-20 cents more per litre than other gas stations in the area at all times. He price gouges the good ppl of west lorne. go to the Goco- they are full service for less! We don’t give business to the Esso because he could be doing better for our small community and he doesn’t out of greed.
