I had the worst experience with Essex County respiratory services...I feel that they need to teach their employees how to communicate with the patients and not roll their eyes every time you did something wrong .. I was treated unfairly I felt disrespected and was told that if a 6 year old or an old lady can do the breathing test than me being a middle aged man that's around 30 years old should have no problem doing the test. And if I can t do the test I was told to leave. She compared me and judged me even after I had told her I was recently badly injured in a motor cycle accident. I feel like she should have had more patience and sympathy instead of rolling her eyes at me.
I called in to complain and the receptionist told me to not worry about the complaint and to call the sleep clinic.
100% over all bad experience.

I went to my appointment for 7.30am (im a snowstorm) and could not find the place. I googled the phone number and called but no one answered. I drove around the plaza 4 times and still couldn’t find it so left. When I got home i called and the receptionist whose’s name starts with a “J” told me that I cancelled my appointment yesterday at 10am at the Lasalle location. Didn’t even know there was a location in Lasalle and surely don’t know the number. She just kept on insisting that I canceled my appointment. She was very rude. So even if I would have found the place, no one was there. I even tried to call while waiting in the parking lot but there was no answer and no recording. I was told that the RT would not answer the anyway even if she was there. You would think that if someone has an appointment at 7.30am and the phone rings that someone would answer it just in case that person has a problem finding the place or something. Anyway this is the worst service that I have been provided. I was told that there is a $75 fee for cancelled appointments in 24hr period so I think they owe me $75 dollars for canceling my appointment in error and them being so rude about it.
