My father , a 92 year old self reliant citizen beyond senior who has his legal drivers license was pulled over in broad daylight taking a drive down the 4th concession towards heritage road , taking his sunday scenic drive ,looking at farm properties . He was pulled over , wrongly accused of drinking and driving , threatened !! By telling him he will lose his license and be brought down to the hospital for bloodwork , harassed , and his vehicle was improperly searched without a warrant and reasonable grounds.. And they also harassed him , by threatening to tow his vehicle . The 92 year old man was them ‘handcuffed ‘ by a female police officer from essex and thrown in the back of a police vehicle awaiting the backup officer to arrive with the breathalyzer. In the mean time , after this female officer accused him 5-6 times of smelling like alcohol , she proceeded to search tirelessly throughout his vehicle to find something ?? And found nothing . When the back up officer arrived with the breathalyzer, the old man past with “”flying colors “””. Hasnt had a drink in 6 years Not sure if they misinterpreted a person 92yrs old of being drunk and decided to put a scare on him . Well they were successful on scaring him becuase he has been in distress since this situation occured . He is a man who has had triple bypass surgery ,broken hip and walks with a limp. He weights 120lbs !!! Same weight as a 10 year old boy !! How can this police Department justify these actions!!!! How would they like it if this occured with their parent !!! A senior citizen is the most vulnerable!!! I am lucky he never had another heart attack at that point in the car cuffed . Disgusting to say the least !!! Clearly the essex police /opp treat civilians as non-humans . And clearly once again , the elderly are most vulnerable from those that are there to protect and serve !!! Not sure what the deal was here ?? Maybe lack of training on how to deal with a human being ?? I would love to know
the voidlord kept me locked in here and didn't let me leave until i got all the voidlands ics. Terrible experience
