This clinic hosted my first covid shot. Three of us went in and got through very quickly. To be honest we didn't expect so much individuals to be there so it was a bit of a scare seeing the long lines. We joined the registration line, and we were processed quickly, next, we joined the "shot" line again we didn't even noticed we waited 10 minutes until we were called by Nurse Kirsten. Our shots were given in seemless order under the warm professionalism of Kirsten. Next we were directed to the last desk to make our second appointment, that went quickly as well, then we were guided to the waiting area. Throughout the entire ordeal from the ladies in the entrance area to the team in the lined areas, we experienced nothing but good and patient customers service. The ladies and the older gentleman Guest Services were willing to answer your questions and have a cheerful conversation. We didn't feel rushed, we had no I'll effects just respectful persons coming and going and doing their jobs. The environment was also very clean which was a plus.
Dr Hanske is the most patient man I’ve met in the medical field. He has a rare genuine care that I’ll miss when he retires. I had an appointment today where I waited two hours and he was all apologizing about it but he was late because he does not do the quick fifteen minute meeting and on to the next. I’ll wait all day for a doctor that cares enough to stay with someone who really needs it. I’m impressed and inspired by that man.
They are still requiring staff and patients to wear masks! I got out of there and now I go to NorthStar Clinic on highway 77 just west off of highway 371. No masks! Very friendly staff and a good doctor. No, a great doctor!
Dr. Morghan is fantastic! Leah is also amazing! They explain things, take in-depth history, look at the big picture. The best endocrinologist in the area... possibly the state!

Although my doctor is a little umm...how do I say this, a littIe uncaring.I go in for excruciating pain in my foot he takes an ultrasound and tells I have a blood clot in my foot/leg he puts me on blood thinners and steroids because I have a blood clot..needless to say he has no regard to my pain at all.. I felt as if he looked at me as a drug seeking addict!! I felt so rushed out of there like I wasn't meaning full.. told me take some Tylenol and puts me me on steroids and says to me the steroids should help with the pain.. and sends me on my way.. now my foot and leg are in ten times worse pain, I can't get comfortable, I can't get a good night's sleep can barely take a shower!! Stop rushing your patients out, and listen to what they have to say..
I left the Essentia clinic.....too much Covid Fear! I loved my doctor and the nurse, but couldn't stand to be in there any more. They're really pushing pills and masks! I am now at NorthStar clinic and getting off of MANY pills! Thank God!
Their Nerology Doctors over prescribed a Keppra drug for seizures by about 2000mg a day for a year until someone finally realized and now my beautiful love of my life is in intensive care in a real hospital.Believe me this is just the beginning of the legal storm heading Essentia Healths way,but I am sure we have to get in line to get answers!!Disgusting.It truly is a profit over patient place and has been since St.Joes sold out to them!If you like doctors who over medicate and don’t care,this is the place for you!!
I highly recommend Dr. Zdenek and his staff. I went to Dr. "Z" for a second opinion fully expecting to be sent to the Cities to see a specialist. I met with Dr. "Z" and was excited to find out we have a specialist right here in Brainerd. Dr. "Z" is amazing. He is genuine, down to earth and explained everything in a way for me to understand. He did extensive surgery on my ankle. He did a peroneal tendon repair, ankle arthroscopic debridement with lateral subtalar joint stabilization and osteochondral defect repair. Anyone looking for an ankle specialist should make an appointment with Dr. Zdenek. You won't be disappointed.
I've been in the ER twice as my husband has also and we both had wonderful experiences. The doctors on call were kind, patient, considerate, caring and informative. Although, I do remember there was another time my husband was having heart issues and the doctor on call was a little short. I think he was a little tired and stressed. I know that's not the place to be stressed, but it is a stressful job. They are only human after all.
