We arrived a little after lunch time.nItems Ordered:n- Palak Paneer: ordered the regular spice , it was bland , no flavours or taste. Probably would be better if you ordered really spicy.n- Goat Madras : was decent, the meat was cooked well, had good seasoning.n-Garlic naan and Butter nan: Not your typical nan, this was my absolute favourite. The bread was excellent.nnCons: they are extremely strict with food policy , they do not allow food from outside even if it's baby food. You will be bluntly told that it's not allowed which is not very accommodating in my opinion. The owners can do better.
The Goat Madras was amazing so as the Naan!! Service was wonderful as the staff was knowledge and be able to recommend the diahes based on your preferences.nOne of the highlights was the dip for Samosas, the flavours were on top notch!!nDefinitely will come back again!!!
They had run out of dough to make roti, and their naan is strangely not great, but we had no real choice this time...but everything else on the menu is incredible. We keep trying new things and haven't been disappointed yet! Lovely staff and they do pickup orders too!
After 6 hours of exhausting shoveling, my husband I ventured over to Essence of Spice, and we can’t say enough good things. Not only does it offer amazing food, but the way they showed up for our community during the massive snowstorm weekend was nothing short of amazingnnMany businesses were unable to open due to the extreme weather and power outages. Not only did Essence of Spice open their doors, they were offering free meals to those who were stranded. Their generosity was heartwarming and a true reflection of the restaurant's deep commitment to the community. It’s not every day that you see a business put others first like that.nnWhile we only had a small but delicious snack and a well deserved beer, we will definitely be back to try some of the recommendations we were given for next time!nnThank you, Essence of Spice, for brightening a difficult weekend and for showing what true community spirit is all about.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, super quick and efficient but also very patient and knowledgeable answering all questions and responses to recommendations with confidence. The food was delightful. So much value and everything cooked to perfection with such marvelous spices. It’s quite the drive but well worth it. Will definitely come back
