This is the only "cozy" brunch spot I know in this part of Unionville. The food tastes very good and is made of relatively high quality ingredients. The latte here is really well made, too. I love their patio and there's a lot of space to dine indoor. My only critique is the service; I've been here a couple of times and though staff are very nice, they don't do a good job with the service. The patio needs to be cleaned there's always lots of garbage lying around. Other than that, it's a great place and I visit it regularly. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Benedict and frittata.
This place is decent and food are not bad, at least from the Tuna salad that I tried. The Cappuccinos has strong espresso taste and the matcha latte also has strong matcha taste also. The tuna salad, great combination of salad ingredient including a half soft boil egg and lots of veggie and the home made dressing goes very well together! A nice harmonized plate of salad, at least to my palette today. : I like this salad and recommend this dish! The portion is not big and could be small to some of you folks but good enough for me as a lunch today. The folks there are friendly. You need to find a table to sit first and then order at the counter and pay first and then they will bring the food to your table. That’s a good work flow and when I am finished eating, I just get up and leave and no need to trouble the waiter for a bill which save me another 10-15 min of my time. There are lots of tables including patio. There are more tables when u go further into the cafe… but I personally don’t like that section too much because the air circulation isn’t too well in my opinion and I can smell the “smoke” from cooking coming from kitchen. Close to a 4 stars review.
READ EDIT Such an amazing place. Ive been looking for a cozy cafe and this spot is absolutely perfect. Great service, they were so nice and brought my pastry to the table. I haven't tried the food but it looks so beautiful. An amazing place to study and hang out with friends. Edit: I came again and tried more things and realized how absurdly expensive everything is. They're selling cheesecake factory cheese cakes for $10 a slice. All their cakes are more than $10 PER SLICE. On top of this the service is quite slow, 20 minutes to serve a latte. I'm disappointed. I wish it was better, such a waste of an adorable cafe.
A very quaint cafe with the perfect ambiance to sit back and relax with a friend. You go up to the counter to order and pay before finding a table to sit at. The service is very friendly and quick but the meal was a bit of a miss for me. The cold teas would have been absolutely delicious and refreshing if they were colder. We ordered a berry tea and a ginger tea, which were made from tea bags and filled in a glass with ice but it was tepid/warm because of the hot water used to make the tea. The glasses themselves were also warm to the touch and not enough ice was used to make the cold tea actually cold and refreshing. The flavour was really good though. Would have been better if they cooled down the tea in a martini shaker with ice and then filled in another glass with more ice. The food was so-so. Ordered a seafood pasta which was very generous in the seafood items a huge plus and the sauce was light and yummy, perfect for a hot / warm day for lunch. My eggs benedict was another miss though. I asked for the hollandaise sauce on the side but it came on top of eggs and the inside of poached eggs were very runny and raw. I know poached eggs are more on the liquid/soft side but the egg white shouldn't be clear like you see here in the picture and the texture of the eggs resembled raw egg whites versus a poached egg. My dish was also room temp whereas the pasta was piping hot so that tells me my dish was made first and sat waiting for the pasta. I won't write this place off just yet so hopefully this was just an off day for the restaurant.
Very cute cafe. Went for a stroll down Main St. Unionville and came across this cute cafe. It was very cosy inside, and quite busy during Family Day afternoon. There was 2 parts to the cafe, a front area where people come in from and then a few more seats in the back. I ordered the Caramel Macchiato, which was pretty tasty. It wasn't very sweet, and I didn't taste the caramel, but perhaps it was just very subtle. The order itself took a while to make, but I think it was because there was literally 2 staff there running the whole cafe. My friend ordered a smoothie, and it looked really good. You can see that they used real fruits to make the smoothie. They also had a menu for food which looked pretty tasty from what they were bringing out. I would definitely come here again for the ambiance, but wouldn't come here for the coffee/ drinks itself.
Great service, it's a order first, give your seat number and they bring your order to you type of restaurant. It was super clean, family friendly and the food was AMAZING. I got the eggs Benedict with salmon it was a side of smoked salmon with a small salad, a few potato wedges and two poached egg bennys. 11/10 honestly it was so fresh and savory. I also got the coconut latte which wasn't sweet but definitely delicious.
We came here for some coffee to go, so I can’t say anything for the food. However, this place is beyond cute. The entrance was a little hidden, and the prices are on the high end, but you definitely get your moneys worth. We got a few shaken espressos, a vanilla oat shaken espresso, and my personal favourite, the cinnamon bun latte with oat milk. All drinks were very good, and all were in the $4-6 range. The baristas were super friendly, and the general atmosphere was calm and quaint, similar to the general vibe of Unionville. If you’re in the area, I would definitely grab a coffee from Espresso 21!
My wife and I went to this restaurant in the past long weekend. It is a nice place to have a brunch or stop by for a hot coffee. The great food and service warmed us up in this cold Spring noon. If you live nearby or happen to browse this nice and classic neighborhood, this restaurant is highly recommended!
Spring is in the air, so we decided to take a relaxing walk at Unionville Main Street. We stopped by this nice little cafe not expecting a full brunch menu available. Food was wonderful with the Cream Cheese Smoked Salmon panini as the highlight of the meal
Highly recommended! Food is amazing staff are super nice. Love the seafood pasta and almond croissant. Will be back for sure.
