A great bar to stumble on into. The bar tender on duty was awesome. He had a great sense of humor and was very attentive. If you are in the area and looking for a beer this is the place to be.
Came here with some friends for some cold beers and pool, met some people that we played, had a great time !
ESOX is the beautiful epitome of the term dive-bar. It's a smaller spot that offers a jukebox, free pool, and an laid back atmosphere. Drinks are very reasonably priced and typically well made plus, they offer specials and deals on pitchers. Even the staff here are great. All in all, definitely a personal favorite bar in town and one I would recommend to most!
It's a dive bar yall. Cash only. Decent heavy pours on mix drinks. Tenders are all tight and decent, respect them and they will you. Don't ask for doubles you won't need it. Free pool in the back new table. AMI Jukebox on deck. Chess upon request. Decent foot long hot dogs upon request as well for 2 bucks including sauces and condiments until supplies run out. Various chips/snacks. Holidays and sporting events they'll have loads of food for the masses. Open till 2 bring your ID and proof of vacc.
The staff is diligent to the safety of the guests by making sure vax cards are shown and the bouncer even refused someone when I said I didn’t feel safe because of an interaction outside. Esox has always been home and I love the new hardworking staff
Michael, is a good bartender. Recommend this bar over monkey bar and OP.
This is a dive bar through and through, and is not a conventional 4 star establishment. Nothing is super special about the drinks, the bar is not pristine by any means and the bar staff can be a bit rough around the edges. However, this is a great place to go to have interesting conversation and a pitcher of cheap beer, so if you go in with that mindset you will not be disappointed.
This place is my go-to, even after all the staff changes RIP Bob. If you're asked to leave, there's a very good chance you deserve it. Everyone is friendly, including the bartenders and owners. Be kind, or get out. It's that simple.
The new ownership is not even close to how this cool bar use to be. Served us one round of drinks and then made us leave. Don't waste your time here.
Feels like home in this bar. Tim was very welcoming and my favorite bartender we’ve had on our road trip.
