The Erskine community is made up of people from diverse faith and ethnic backgrounds. We are held together by our commitment to Christ; and by our passion to grow in our faith, to serve the church with our gifts, and to reach out into the community in mission.

At Erskine worship is engaging, relevant, and rooted in the Bible. We offer supportive and educational groups for adults; dynamic child and youth programs; and superb musical leadership.

Hamilton Out of the Cold Program

A program which strives to respond, in a meaningful way, to the needs of the most abandoned of our city's poor and homeless people --
basic physical needs of shelter food and warm clothing
deeply human needs of compassion, dignity and feelings of self worth.
Bestow your bread on the hungry and satisfy the afflicted.
Your light shall shine in the darkness and gloom shall become like midday.
(Isaiah 58:10)

We host the Hamilton Out of the Cold (HOOTC) Program every Wednesday evening in the winter. The program runs from November to March and provides a hot, nutritious dinner for many of Hamilton's homeless and near homeless.

Alpha in Prison

Every Wednesday evening a team from Erskine conduct an Alpha program in the local Detention Centre where men are introduced to the basics of the Christian faith and receive encouragement, support and guidance for their lives.

Presbyterian Sharing

Presbyterian Sharing is the name of the fund that supports the ministries and mission of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. Through our offerings to this fund we support many ministries throughout Canada and the world.

Presbyterian World Service and Development (PWS&D)

This is the development and relief agency of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Through our contributions we help support relief operations during national disasters, as well as development work in third world countries. For more information, go to the PWS&D website.
