Today we went here for lunch with some friends from work and we are very pleased with the food and the service was fantastic. I find it bit expensive but the food was amazing. We ordered nachos, dirty burger with fries, Mac burger and chicken tender with fries. Food Is fantastic. Definitely will come back and highly recommended it. Place like this definitely hight recommend to support it and I won't regret spending my money here
Great spot! Lots of local beers on tap. The food was good. We need to support places like this that are owner operated, one location. Nichole the owner works hard and made it through COVID. Ernies has been in Hespeler for over 30 years.
First time at Ernie's Roadhouse...loved the atmosphere & ambiance. Sat on the covered deck...spectacular. Raspberry Martini was delicious...meal was spot on...our waitress was fabulous...especially with a large group of 14 lovely ladies Thanks for an enjoyable evening Cheers
Food looks good but was relatively tasteless. Prices are a bit high for what you get. $20 wings... $20 nachos... $16 poutine. I understand price increases however I won't be returning to this location.Food: 2/5
Such a great place! The prices may seem a bit high, but oh my goodness- the portion sizes are HUGE! We often share an appetizer and a main because the food is plated so generously. We've tried a few different things here, we have yet to be disappointed; however, the loaded Mac n' Cheese, and the Pickle Chips are our favorites. Excellent service, and delicious food all around!
Stopped in during my bike ride and sat on the deck. Had a cold beer and a cheese&bacon burger with fries. Everything was good.
Ernie's is the place to be for wings and beer or a casual family dinner out. Great tap selection. Service is good. Food is well executed at a very fair value point. They have a great open air room/deck on the back that is the place to be in the summer.Food: 4/5
Great spot, great staff! Visited Ernie’s for the first time tonight and will be back! The place is welcoming and friendly, with a laid back charm that makes you comfortable from the start. The drinks suggested to us were on point as were the prices, and the staff were out of this world!! Our waitress Tash was the absolute kindest, and was extremely friendly and helpful and funny to boot!! Would recommend Ernie’s - ask for Tash!
Terrific little hole in the wall stop for dinner. The darts are a great addition. Made for a really fun night!Recommended dishesFish & Chips
Went to Ernie’s while in town for a hockey tournament in Hespeler. During dinner and after many at the table including myself and my son used the vinegar on our food someone noticed black things floating in it. Upon closer inspection it was multiple mini flies floating in the bottle. Like 20 or more as people laughed and tried to count. Needless to say myself and family put our forks down and we’re instantly finished. I notified the waitress who notified her owner/manager I assume who was sitting at the bar. Things got very quiet and took some time to come back to our table. I paid our bill and our waitress said sorry. Other than that the owner never made his way by but noticed us on way out as he was the greeter when we arrived . He said thanks for coming ….. Maybe an apology would have been in order. It took quite some time to get it out of our minds as well as the gross feeling I had that we possibly digested a few of those flies! I try to help small business however next time may have to rethink and go to franchise restaurant.
