Date visited : Saturday January 29, 2022 Comments : First time visiting. It was my wifey's pre-bday celebration, since we wished to celebrate with her brother who is staying about a 2 hour drive away from us. They accept contact-less payment with Debit & Credit Card. Apparently there was a change of management or ownership according to my brother in law within the last couple years? Something I'm on the fence with tho is leaving a tip for a pick up order. I did leave $6.00 tip tho this time. Since I deliver for Skip the Dishes, it's nice to see a tip when I deliver..sadly..it's rare. Pickup orders tho? I don't feel pickup orders should get tips, only delivered orders. Service : 3/5 Currently due to restrictions, only Take out and Delivery is available. Friendly staff. Food : 4/5 For the pre-bday celebration we decided to order their Mega Deal which consists of : 2 Large Pizzas w/ 4 toppings each, 2lbs of chicken wings, 2 garlic bread, 4 soft drinks & 2 dippings sauces for $43.99 CAD + Tax. We also ordered an additional Large Chcken BBQ Pizza, hold the mushrooms, for $15.99 CAD + HST. We chose medium and honey garlic for the wings. The 1lb of honey garlic wings was the first to be consumed, there were a few medium sauced wings still left over at the end of our feasting. We requested Hawaiian for one of the large pizzas, and prosciutto + red onions + sweet peppers for the other large pizza that came with the Mega Deal. The Chicken BBQ pizza was the one that was enjoyed by all, 2nd fav was the Prosciutto/red onions/sweet peppers, last place went to the Hawaiian. The Hawaiian pizza is the normal toppings they get when my brother in law orders so the group of feasters were used to Hawaiian pizza. So they opted for the other different pizzas. Their main menu is single order kinda meals, mom and pop, white culture type foods. Drinks : 4 Canada Dry soft drink in 355ml cans. Portion Size Value for Money Spent : 3/5 All in all, almost $75 for everything we ordered. Since it is a small town, prices are usually higher than in the suburbs, where my wifey and I are in Scarborough, ON. Worth a repeat visit : Likely yes, to try some of their other offerings that are not pizza. Since they have sandwiches, burgers, subs, pitas and wraps as well.
During our meanderings, my wife and I stopped in a couple of times for meals over the last year or so. Service and meal was good. Only negative was that both times no itemized bill was brought to the table at the end of the meal. Had to go to the counter to pay. Server entered the details, as she best remembered them, into the cash register/computer, and told us the final cost. There was no screen for the customer to see what was entered. Not saying they were incorrect but there was no way for me to visually confirm if correct. I know I should be bold enough to ask for an itemized invoice. Restaurant customers should always be presented with a detailed invoice prior to paying. If there is nothing to hide then be open. In response to the owner's reply. It's a nice place to eat, service good, prices reasonable. We would stop in again. My point is that the customer should be provided with an invoice, even hand written, with items priced prior to paying either at the table or at the counter. I always do a quick check, mistakes happen. Both times we were there it was not too busy and could have easily been done. All the best in your venture.
Best pizza this side of the Grand River. The staff and new owners are very friendly and hospitable and the stone-baked pizza is out of this world. Worth the drive from Niagara - will definitely return!
If you ever needed a reason to visit the city of Arthur... You got it Erni's place! It is exactly what you expect from a family own restaurant, great food and service. The patio is cosy and allows us to have a good meal outdoors. It's hard to point what dish is our favorite, but I strong recommend the Anna's Lasagna and the Chicken Parmigiana, both are big and tasty for a good price. This restaurant just became our mandatory meal stop from Blue Mountains
Had authentic butter chicken &rice with naan, and my wife had southern fried chicken. Great food, we'll be back !!Food: 4/5
A quaint lil restaurant. A book amounts of foods, will be interesting to try most of their dishes. Needs some practice here n there of some of the dishes, in time as they have only been open a year. My husband did tell me, that the heat in the washroom was way too hot. I'd like to come back here to try different dishes.Food: 3/5
We had an off hour meal. I had the butter chicken, and it was awesome . I recommend a visit to try for yourself. Support local!Food: 5/5
The food was absolutely amazing! I had a pizza, deep fried pickles, mozzarella sticks, and a grape crush.. to myself. Everything was delicious and the pizza toppings were fresh. I could not have asked for better food and service. I would give more than five stars if I could. Highly recommended!
Nice little small town diner, friendly staff and great food very generous portions if I am back in the area I will be returning for a meal. Price is also very fair.Food: 5/5
Erni’s is a long standing place in Arthur and the former owners have recently sold. I was a little worried to try it after it changed but all the food is still great and the milkshakes are awesome! Still working out the kinks but no complaints and I’ve been for breakfast, lunch and dinner so far and all were really good. They use real ice cream for the shakes and super thick - yum!
