Absolutely delicious! Once you get past the bakery counter, head to the back to the deli counter. We had the best roast beef sandwiches freshly made. They have daily specials which also includes homemade soup. Definitely a place to stop to pick up a picnic when headed to Algonquin park. Erika's also has a great selection of gifts and souvenirs to browse through as you are waiting for your order.
Excellent location. Great treats! One table inside and the rest are outside underneath an awning. There are many things you can order here. The servers are friendly. There are washrooms available for customers
This is a must stop for a quick breakfast! It reminds me of a cafe/bakery you’d see in British Columbia more so than Ontario. I got the breakfast bagel and it was soooooooo delicious, I’m very impressed. I also got some OJ and a chai latte that was super good. They had all kinds of delicious looking desserts as well as sandwiches for lunch and a variety of coffees and teas. There’s quite a bit of parking and there’s a fake moose and bear across the road. Maybe someone would want to take a photo with them. The staff were nice and friendly and did an amazing job making everything fresh.
This is a restaurant we had breakfast before we arrived Algonquin Park. The restaurant is also a shop and it is very clean. We love their bagels and we decided also.coming back after finished visiting the park They have an outside patio that allows customers to eat there. They are also very friendly. I recommend this for a quick bite when you passby.
The bakery is incredible! Butter tarts are one of the best I’ve ever had, so great. You need to try them! However don’t get their coffee, it is so bad. We tried it two times this week. First an americano, to have with the butter tarts…it was so watered down I dumped it when I got back to the cottage. Thought maybe it was an off day. Two days later reconsidered and got a regular coffee. Again so bad. Watered down and no flavour. Would be the perfect combo if they can get the coffee figured out.
Erika's came highly recommended from some friends that visited the area. So we had to try it. We stopped in for breakfast to go. They have a number of breakfast sandwich options. Choose your bagel, type of meat and egg. Top it off with a coffee and you are set for the day! They serve soups and lunch sandwiches as well. Thee are.othe snacks, crafts and gift items in the store as well. They also have a covered outdoor eating area with four or five small tables. The parking lot is large and easily accessible from highway 60. Everytime we drive by it was busy!
Erika's! I no longer say my girlfriends name during love sessions. I simply whisper "Erika" in ecstacy. My girlfriend concurs.
Always make a point of stopping at Erika's on our way into the park to get my egg salad sandwich before hitting the trails!
We frequent Erica's almost every time we're up at the cottage, or heading into or out of the park. We love it there so much we decided to have them cater the desserts for our wedding, and they absolutely did not disappoint! At Erica's, quality ALWAYS outweighs volume. Each and every dessert was amazingly delicious and fresh. We could not have been happier!
Was happy to stop back in here with my wife from a 4 year hiatus due to the pandemic. What was nice to see is that despite changes to respect Covid guidelines were in place the staff were very friendly and on top of things. Its good to see that this location has not lost its magic and continues to provide top notch baking. We look forward to coming back again.
