Erie county don’t have good customer service. I am very sad for service. I buy property five years they don’t send the property County tax bill. If visit the office asking any questions they are attitude not nice. My question is if they don’t like the take care customer why they come to work? We’re going to there only for reason paying the bill. I hope management will be changing the system and giving us better service.
While often no one answers the phone, they do answer email and are helpful and best that way. I will also say there is a star employee in the group, who is probably carrying the weight for the whole team.
Please do not try to pay your bill online you will be crazy, I try more than one hour to pay my bill but I cannot. I think this is the worst website in the world someone created for us, Oh my goodness.
No one available to answer calls during business hours? Scam
If you have to pay a 3rd party a fee, through the threat of lethal force, then you do not own said property. Even if you buy your house with cash. If you have to pay 'taxes' on said property, and after X amount of years, 3 they will show up at your home with guns... threatening LETHAL FORCE, and will steal that 'property' from you, you DO NOT OWN said property, but instead 'rent' it from the county. Think about that. In the United States of America, you are NOT allowed to 'own' real estate. As all Real estate is owned by the Government, and you merely buy the 'rental' rights.
Management of this Department and the employees who serve are knowledgeable and professional in their public service to taxpayers and other governments. Led by an experienced real property tax expert, you may rest assured your taxpayer rights will be respected and your questions answered. Historical property tax information is maintained and easily retrieved.
County government is horrible! You can bever reach anyone by telephone and no one ever calls you back.
Taxation without representation is a crime.
Terrible web site. Cannot get anyone to call back.
