I’ve been seeing dr leith since I was 4 years old. Fast forward 22 years I am still seeing him for any allergy, immunology related problem at all and he has never left me uncertain of anything with respects to my severe anaphylaxis. The fact that he is so quick to get to the point always makes my appointments so quick easy and convenient to stay on top of my health and well-being. Also I’d like to add at 16 I grew out of peanut allergy and dr leith went above and beyond to ensure I’d be safe eating peanuts out of hospital. If you’re looking for an amazing allergist/immunologist see dr leith, if you’re looking for a therapist he does not specialize in that field.
Very rude doctor , talks down to you, doesn’t let you explain the issue, obviously if I knew what’s wrong with me I wouldn’t be calling him. I said most recently I was noticing I’m allergic to sun screen and his response was better to avoid sunscreen while in the sun. His attitude and tone was worse than his service . I was very disappointed and will make sure to tell my family doctor not to recommend people to him.
I was having difficulties breathing all of sudden and visited Emergency Rooms. The ER doctor referred me to Dr. Leith to find out the cause. The doctor considers it should be my dinner even though I told him I ate those food all the time. After negative blood test results the doctor just simply told me in the phone call that he could not find the reasons that causes my symptoms and I could book more skin tests if I insisted but that’s beyond the scope of what happened during that ER visit. I can’t understand his logic and don’t appreciate his attitude.
Horrible service. I had my appointment back in August. Dr. Leith was very obnoxious with me. Spoke to me about my allergy inquiry as if I was a specialist in a debate. He seemed very biased and out of date. I would not recommend ever going to see him. He directed me to my dermatologist who I only got to see now and she was appauled he directed me to her based on my symptoms. I am never going back to him. He needs to retire ASAP.
I have met with Dr. Leith on two occasions and will continue to see him. I have a rare case of urticaria that developed out of nowhere in my 30s. I joined a Facebook group for support and have heard that this type of urticaria is rarely understood or supported. Going to see a specialist, I was nervous that I was really going to advocate for myself. Fortunately, Dr. Leith was knowledgeable and didn’t undermine my experience. He requested a thorough amount of blood work. He made such good notes of what I was telling him that I was surprised he remembered so much from our first meeting a month prior.
Great Doctor and very personable! Always asks about my family and always displays a great attitude. I would most certainly recommend his services. Please remember this Doctor is an allergist not a psychologist or psychiatrist. This is for the other reviews as they don't reflect this Doctor in my opinion.
Very kind doctor! Dr. Leith was very personable, listening to what I had to say and answering all my questions. He was very thorough, and made sure I was comfortable and recieved proper treatment. The clinic was also very nice. I'm very satisfied with my appointment!
He is very quick to make assumptions and talks down to you and tells you that hive just appear and sends you to a determolgist ,he doesn't give you any answers on what the problem is . He did a skin test and I had turned around to show him and told me that it was nothing serious and later on spread al over my hand and legs
Not a good experience for me, did a few tests and came in for the second time only was told he did not know what caused my allergic reactions.
Horrible staff in the office, they never return your phone calls, tried calling and left multiple voicemails hoping they will call back to reschedule my appointment but no one has responded yet. I am pretty sure that I will miss my appointment because of these idiots working up there and will have to again wait for months before I can see the doctor.
