By far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I mean, ever! They literally stole money on my account.. they asked my credit card number and said 4.99$ is the price to pay for whatever the package was, and immediately ve been charged 22.94$. I said, give me a refund and the dude hang out.
the worst service of any company i have dealt with ever and they determine how good or bad i am when they double charge me for around 4 years and now they have the balls to lower my score by 51 points in one day because one of the 2 credit cards they charge expired , and i wont give them the new one as they are already charging the other one and i called to cancel one of the payments which they did not do but i am trying to reach them since november and its always the same song , my supervisor is busy now he will call you within 30 minutes . Same song 7 times and nobody calls back shame on you
This has been one of the worst, if not the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I was offered this service free as part of the Desjardins security breach. I don't even want this service free of charge. After receiving an email about some activity on my account, I tried to log in to see what it was about. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my password and so I tried to use their online feature to reset it. It did not work so I called their customer service to get it reset. The agent sent me a link and I got off the phone only to realize his link did not work either. So I called back and was sent the link again and told that I had to wait half an hour before being able to try it. It still did not work. I called back again and told the agent that I needed my issue resolved. She opened a trouble ticket for me and told me that it would take 15 business days to resolve. I didn't think that was acceptable but I waited even more than 15 business days and when I still couldn't access my account I called back and was told that it would be 20-30 business days. During this last call I became increasingly irritated, not angry or rude though. I asked to speak with a supervisor and of course none were available so I asked for a supervisor to call me back. That would take up to 3 business days I was told. That was a month and half ago. Still no call from the supervisor and the link doesn't work either. I have since remembered my password but that doesn't negate how pathetic this company and its customer service is.
Unknown Credit Card Accounts, Unknown Line of credits, Unknown Phone Number, Unknown Address, Unknown Hard Inquiries on my credit report. I FEEL HELPLESS.. NEED TO BUY FIRST HOME, AND THESE THINGS SHOWS UP.. GETTING ALOT OF PROBLEMS IN HAVING A MORTGAGE NOW.. My Transunion report is all clear.. Unfortunately, No ways to give 0 stars. Had to go with 1 star
This is by far the worst and most difficult customer service I have ever dealt with. I have called multiple times to correct the same errors on my credit report and each time they have told me it will be fixed within 3-5 business days. Each time I call them back to follow up it turns out that no one has taken any action to make the correction, and they claim they have no record of me calling. It is absolutely impossible to reach a solution and it is extremely frustrating because Equifax holds so much credibility in the world of Credit Scores. I spoke with someone today who apologized and promised to take the appropriate action. I called back 30 minutes later to follow up with another agent and see if the appropriate steps were actually taken - I was told there was no record from the previous agent. I have never dealt with something this unprofessional and unorganized in my entire life.
Bad online services and customer service contact center is even worse. They don’t have a feature on their website to print your own credit score. CC agent advised to print the report using a screenshot, as if I am asking for my credit score report to post it on social media. Then the agent advised to call automated service to request a credit score report by mail, when entering social insurance number the system responds we have an error and we can’t proceed with your request. What a shame?!
Customer representatives have always been friendly and understanding that's what my 1 star is for...however, Ive had several issues with my account and it's extremely frustrating. I have had to call 4x to try to get a refund after being charged twice for my annual membership. The 4th time I call, they end up cancelling my subscription all together, instead of processing the refund. I never get confirmation emails, after these phone calls. They always say the same thing "wait 3-5 business days for the refund and we'll send a confirm email". Still no refund, and now I don't have my account! Another weird thing, somehow I have an address on my profile in which I have never lived at, nor has anyone I know lived at. Update: seriously, who runs this place? Impossible to get through; I got a random 74$ out of 200$ from my expected refund!; HOW is this a legit company....
No service. One agent doesn’t know why another agent did to your file. But after 3weeks of waiting the agents suggests a investigation be opened…. Mean while don’t try an buy a house because you have inaccurate credit profile..
I very seldomly leave reviews but I was compelled to after my experience with Equifax customer service. If I could give a zero review I would. Equifax has the absolutely the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with! There was a issue with my account that should not have been an issue to begin and has left me without being able to get a credit check from equifax for over a month despite having a very good credit score. I have had to call customer service over 4 times and the issue still has not been resolved. Extremely unhappy with this company. Unfortunate that we have to rely on it for everything we need regarding credit checks.
the company deserve 0 star. this is the worst company to hold the most valuable credit information. They mess up my credit profile, there are loan/mortgages that do not belong to me! the customers service people do not speak English well and they are hard to understand and take long time and still can't fix their mistakes, and they hang up their phone when I was not done talking. I think that is how they make money, they mess up your credit record, and then you need to pay monthly fee to deal with that. looks like a scamming company!
