A great café with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The coffee is a stand out with one of the sandwiches I had being above average and the other being below average. Order: Large Cappuccino $5.10 each x3 - Great tasting cappuccino - High quality coffee beans - Slight sweetness - Bold coffee flavor without bitterness - Not overly acidic Jittery Chicken Sandwich $12.00 each x1 - Great tasting sandwich - Good quality bread - I enjoyed the chicken and sauce a lot - Fresh and tasty vegetables on the sandwich - It came with kettle chips unclear if this was made in house since the other sandwich came with Miss Vickie's kettle chips, tasted good Pulled Pork Sandwich $12.00 each x1 - Below average pulled pork sandwich - The bun was quite soggy from the sauce - Large amount of pulled pork on the sandwich - Mostly one tasting note due to the strong BBQ sauce - I personally found the sandwich overly sweet - It came with a bag of Miss Vickie's kettle chips, tasted good - It came with a slaw which was refreshing but not to my taste Atmosphere and Site: - Great atmosphere with a good amount of seating indoors and outdoors - Fairly quiet and a good place to work/study/have a conversation - Locally made art on the walls and locally made products available in the store - A lot of coffee paraphernalia available for purchase - A good variety of coffee beans available for purchase Service: - Everything I ordered arrived in 8~ minutes only one customer in front of me - The employees are friendly and helpful
Yummy desserts! The brownie was moist and rich. My coffee unfortunately was not so enjoyable, very little flavour although it was supposed to be a maple latte. Price point is also pretty high.
Love this place , great ambience , perfect music , staff are all very helpful and fast service. We had coffee , maple butter tart, americano and kombucha. Will definitely recommend to my friends and come again next time when i visit Carleton Place
Came here because they sent out an email to those subscribed to their mailing list with a promo code for a free bag of coffee which is so generous. I do wish that their online store offered pickup at the Ottawa locations rather than the one in Almonte, but for free coffee I was willing to make the trip.
We often go through the drive through at this location though today we decide to go inside. It was a warm and cozy looking spot! Service was quick and it was cool to see many of the local businesses' products available as well. We were doing a tour of various stores in Almonte today and we enjoyed our espresso based drinks to warm up on our adventure.
Open, bright and airy venue. Prompt, friendly, helpful service. And the coffee! We had two different scones, one with chocolate chips and one with hot peppers, and they were still proper scones without making them sweet. Will go back, in fact we didFood: 5/5
I had their breakfast burrito a week ago when I was really hungry, and it was so astonishingly delicious that I'm STILL thinking about it. It was served up so pretty too! They also made me the best iced americano I've EVER had, and I've had a lot of iced americanos. I'd give this place ten stars out of five if I could!
When lining up they should tell you where the line starts and not egnore you. I'm standing there waiting for 5 minutes for this one customer ordering, they were just having a conversation and at the end she purchased a coffee. Another customer comes in and walks to the other side of the line and about to order when she customer saw me waiting she apologized and said go ahead. There was about 4 or 5 employees standing around and they could of said something to me the time I was standing there and got my purchase but instead a customer was kind enough to notice me and let me go and order. Other than that the coffee was good.
Very cozy place for family brunch or friends gathering on weekends. We had skillet breakfast and egg Sammy, very delicious taste! Staff are friendly and helpful too. Parking spots are many and big, only thing is the turning from the road into the plaza is tricky, we had to turn left from march road right after a traffic light.
The Good: we ordered 5 cups, an Americano, a Piccolo, a Latte, flat white and a drip. Really good coffee. Drove 30 mins outside town this morning just for it and they are worth it. The bad: there is not much in this category. The ambience is great, the barista was Uber friendly and helpful. The ugly: absolutely nothing. I would definitely recommend. Of all the coffee I have had in my life, Is this a place that I would be jonesing for some really good coffee? No. Is this better than most places in Ottawa or the area. Yes. Keep it up guys, you are doing great.
