One of the best Haitian cuisine in Montreal. They have a bar too, you can enjoy good Haitian cocktail
Very delicious, big portion and reasonable price. I recommend
First and last I was asked to wait outside for some reason I don’t know. Or maybe cause I was not wearing a suit.
Nice, clean, well lit place. Le mangé è gou. Le service est chaleureux. Kid-friendliness: I was greeted with a smile from the moment I walked through the door. The staff very courteous and helpful. I even enjoyed a nice conversation with the owner while i waited for my ordet. He is very wise and Zen.
The food is Haitian and delicious. The presentation is very laid back, served in baskets. I don't mind that a bit. I got the goat, which is not normally my favorite meat, but IT WAS EXCELLENT! My husband got the chicken and he loved it also. I would like to eat there again. Service was friendly, warm, inviting and thorough! I sincerely feel everything was prepared with love.
First and last time. Ordered Cabrit - mostly bones and fat, barely any meat + the rice has a weird after taste + they give you a miniature sauce. The acras obviously had morue in it which they do not announce. Asked and paid for an extra sauce which we did not get. Unfortunately will not be returning - very disappointing as this resto had great reviews
Ordered yesterday and it was the second best plate of griot i ever had. So flavorful... not dry... fresh. My only complaint would be the lacķ of utensils with my order... every order should at least have a gork anf a napkin. The sauce...there is too little of it. Besides that... it was very good.
This is one of the best haitian restaurants that I have tasted in Montreal, definitely in my top 3. The staff is courteous and the food is great, I recommend their griot. Also their rice is the best stand alone rice period.
I have had there one of the best meal I have had in a while. I had the grilled fish accompanied by the house plantains and rice. The bartender Dimitri made this wonderful virgin cocktail made of passionfruit ,ginger and spice. The chef made sure we had enjoyed our meal. Thank you
