had a fantastic experience playing badminton .The facility is top-notch with well-maintained courts that have excellent flooring, providing a smooth and consistent playing surface. The lighting was perfect, ensuring visibility without any glare, even during evening games.
Our go to badminton place and has been for the past year or so! Spacious area with adequate air conditioning. If the staff could be politer, it would be a cherry on top. Additionally, the washrooms are in dire need of repairs.
I visited this court sometime at the end of August, rented a court for about an hour. Pretty chill place, lots of people there practicing and even just playing for fun.nnFacilities are okay, bathroom was clean and had lockers. Parking was available and free. Wouldn’t mind going back again.
Great place to bring friends or family for some badminton fun. Have been here a few times before and air quality was ok. This time however we had a 5 pm court time and it was too warm, muggy and really smelly. Would have helped if doors were open for some air circulation. Will pick an earlier time again next time. It was a bit unbearable for our party.
Have been coming here almost weekly to play recreational badminton with a group of friends for more than a year. From my experience this place is always very busy, never more than 1 or 2 courts sitting unused, if at all. My thoughts regarding this club listed belownnPros:n- Largest number of courts in Toronto area that I'm aware of. Total of 17 courts availablen- High ceilings and lights are draped with some sort of fabric cover to help reduce glaren- Flat all-in rate of $30 per hour for non-members to book a court during peak hours eg. evenings & weekends. No extra nickel & dime fees like per guest fee, etc.nnCons:n- No drinking water fountain available. If you forget to bring your own water or run out, you will have to purchase the 0.5L bottled water for $1 or sports drink for $2.5n- Booking system is still old school, call or go in-person to inquire about court availabilityn- Court surfaces are showing its age. Lines are faded in some spots, some centimetre wide cracks showing in the vertical middle lines of the court, the green color is not as vibrant or clean lookingn- The waiting/reception area near the front/info counter could use some freshening up. All of the single seat upholstered armchairs are very dirty and old looking. Replacing them with wooden or metal benches seems like a good solution as they are easier to keep clean than upholstery.n- The change rooms can use more frequent cleaning or renovated with better ventilation to help with the bad smells. There can also be more benches placed inside to accommodate more people changing at the same time.n- Parking lot could use a fresh coat of paint for the parking space lines, they are very faded. The parking lot also looks like it functions as a storage lot for a mechanic shop since there are always various different vehicles trucks, vans, SUVs tightly parked near loading dock and along the edges.
