I am extremely outraged and disappointed by the behavior of your employee, whom I encountered on Friday around 12:20 PM. I haven't encountered such rudeness and disrespect from a store employee in a long time.nnI was already at the checkout and had completely unloaded my groceries. The cashier put up a sign saying the checkout was closed for the break, but before doing so, she clearly told me I would be the last customer. I hadn't broken any rules, wasn't trying to cut in line, and was simply waiting to be served.nnDespite this, another employee approached me and began speaking to me in a rude, irritated, and accusatory manner. She repeatedly repeated that the checkout was closed, even though I knew this perfectly well and had immediately explained the situation to her. But instead of communicating normally, she continued to bully me with her tone, making it seem as if I had done something wrong.nnThis was extremely unpleasant and humiliating. I came to your store as a customer, I leave my money here, and I expect basic respect. I didn't expect to be treated like this by the person who is the face of your store.nnThe most outrageous thing isn't the closed cash register, but the complete lack of politeness, professionalism, and respect for customers. If an employee can't calmly resolve such ordinary situations and considers it normal to talk down to people, one wonders why such a person even works in the service industry.nnI strongly urge management to look into this employee's behavior and take appropriate action. Customers shouldn't have to tolerate rudeness, arrogance, and humiliation simply because one employee decided to take out their bad mood on a customer.nnShe worked at the third cash register at the customer service
Great variety of fresh produce and grocery items. Store is well maintained and organized well. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The only challenge I find is the aisles are fairly narrow and with a shopping cart during peak hours, it can be hard to navigate and shop around. Having said that, this is still my regular 'go to' place for grocery and common items. Be aware of the parking as some routes are designated for 'one way' but only a handful of drivers respect that direction.
I recently visited Ashley’s No Frills and it truly exceeded my expectations. The store was spotless, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The produce was especially impressive—everything looked fresh, vibrant, and high quality.nnThey also had a great variety of products, and I was able to find everything I needed without any hassle. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.nnIt’s also clear that the owner genuinely cares about the customer experience—she makes a point to interact with shoppers, which adds such a personal and positive touch.nnOverall, a fantastic shopping experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Large No Frills location in Richmond Hill. Hallways feel spacious, and not too crowded. They have a pharmacy, seafood and butcher stands inside. There's also printing/keying services. You will find all your typical PC and No Name products here. Lots of parking available in this plaza, located across from Hillcrest Mall.
I want to thank Ilona, who was working at the self-checkout. She was incredibly kind, respectful, and patient. She helped customers with a warm smile and made sure everything went smoothly. Her attitude truly made a difference in my visit.nAnd Great service from Negar at self-checkout. She was kind, respectful, and very helpful.
