Engagement by Dennis Oppenheim is a big artwork in two pieces. On both Metall rings there is a glass installation on top. When you are there at the right time the Sun can be seen right through the glass elements in top of the rings.
The Engagement artwork by Dennis Oppenheim stands nearly 30 feet tall..it is part of the Vancouver Biennale’s legacy artwork of the 2005-2007 period in Vancouver…two transparent pieces of plexiglass and aluminum bring the viewer’s gaze to the summit of the artwork…Mr. Oppenheim leaves the interpretation of the engagement rings to the viewer..I appreciated the invitation to see this scenic sculpture from many angles of photographic perspectives…It is amazing
Always an amazing place to visit, especially during the sunset. Large open spaces and close to stanley park this place is one of the centers of attraction in Vancouver. I live very close by and I am going to visit this place again and again.
I would say it's a beautiful piece of art, more beautiful during sunset.
