Walk back into time with a trip to End of the Commons General Store. Lots of memorabilia, old time candy, yummy food, Amish cooking supplies and baked goods. Lots of aisles to looks through and great items to purchase. Friendly staff, clean environment, reasonable prices. Something for everyone. Stop and take a few hours to look around. You won't be disappointed.

Try the milk chocolate covered malt balls and coco dusted almonds. Huge selection of sodas and confections. Fun store to visit. They have a grill now as well, but I have not tried it.

Nice place to stop for a feel of the past.  Mixed selection of goodies.  I really didn't do this place Justice in my original review. Noting that it's a nice place to stop for a feel of the past is an understatement.  They feature an area with souvenir clothing and sell everything from handmade lye soap, tools, kitchen Goods and old fashioned toys to Indian Goods like dream catchers and moccasins.  They also have a gigantic cooler that features every type of old fashioned soda you could ever imagine.  Root beers to cream soda or orange, vanilla, grape, cherry and perhaps an oddball flavor or two.  Also they feature a Deli counter, ice cream, Cheese's, fry pies, homemade jellies, jams and preserves and an array of other Good's commonly found in a small convenience store.  One of my favorite things about going there is the bulk candy area featuring longtime old-fashioned favorites such as root beer barrels, anise candy, Lemonheads, gummy worms, Laffy Taffy, Tootsie Rolls, Sweet Tarts, candy cigarettes, licorice whips and any other number of old-timey candies as well as some popular ones from today.  A small gas station also faces off the west side of the building with a small convenience store that has more common stuff in it's store such as chips and beer.

I have been lucky enough to live just minutes away from The General Store.  What a wonderful place, and staff are *always* friendly.  There are so many things to look at, not to mention eat, from nostalgia to modern tastes.  A deli, ice cream and a small kitchen offer huge amounts of flavor to satisfy any hunger.  With a selection of toys, candies, ornamental items, t-shirts, locally made syrups, honey and jams, fresh grains and pastas, candles, kitchen items, a small hardware area and more, it has something for everyone.  Our family has enjoyed lunch trips for years.  Check out the Mespotamia Ox Roast as well, a very fun and intriguing time.
