As an immigrant with zero French knowledge, a good place to start with. Decent warmth of staffs combined with an overall holistic learning environment.nnSpecial mention - Prof Jean Ludger is funny with his way of teaching and provides a good experience.nnOverall pros -n1. Materials are good.n2. Materials are basic at a level so as to understand the bare minimumn3. Facilities are good - clean, hygienic, well litn4. Classroom is diverse - in terms of age, education, gender, nationality - makes it all the more fun to learnn5. You get paid 26 CAD/day - what’s bad about money, anywaynnOverall Cons -nn1. They teach unevenly in terms of level. Some days, it’s basic stuff some days it’s advanced of the same level.nn2. They’re pretty fussy about attendance. So, if you’re a student and have final exams, they’d still be displeased that you’ve missed your class and would send passive aggressive mails. nnBut, overall a pretty good experience. Would recommend. It would be best for you if you practise Duolingo side by side. It would reinforce your learning and help you a lot.
Best place to learn french for immigrantsnThis place has humble and kind professors who takes 100% effort to teach you frenchnThe class size is limited to at most 20 peoplennThis institution also has clean bathrooms and friendly staff
Right now I’m in another institute of francisation . So I see a lot of difference.nThere are so many facilities than EMUQL. These are only my point of view. Not every one thinks the same as me.nPros: 1. they respond to your email immediately.n2. Nice staffn3. Nice teachersnnCons: 1. The entrance always smells which is annoying.nn2. The chairs were full of dirts and hair.nn3. Some classrooms are not equipped with neither windows nor ventilation . So imagine 3 hours of no Oxygen ,every time I had a headache.nn4. As I said , the teachers are nice, but unfortunately there is no standard method for their teaching. Almost the whole class were sleeping and quiet. I wish the teachers were more trained or be observed at least.nn4. I reached out to them about the problem in teaching and that we are not learning anything they said they do not do anything.nnI am so thrilled to experience studying in another institution and looking forward to learning French.
It's the place which provides classes for french for free for students and charges money for others. The teachers are very experienced and have deep knowledge about French. Very welcoming Teachers. Very good for people who want to learn Generally Full time and Part time Classes are available. Near to metro station Vendôme and if you are on Sherbrooke street. Take bus 24 which has good frequency. Close to street. Professor are really very appreciative.
I have spent the last year studying French with MIFI in this center.nnI had to wait 6 months to get a seat. But, it was worth it. The centre is clean, straightforward, and stuff is so friendly.nnI started with Zero French, now I am ready to build more momentum with my learning. If you really want to learn and serious.nProf. Carmelle Gédeon is 10/10 from zero to a hero.nnMerci beaucoup à tous
