Emerald City Athletic is my third attempt.at doing "the gym thing" at local gyms in the past 10 years. After four months I can safely say this was the gym I needed all along. Customer service is HUGE for me, and ECA gets top marks. I love that everyone knows me by name from the manager to the trainers to the reception. I am always greeted with a smile and encouragement. It is always clean, broken equipment gets fixed quickly, the staff is knowledgeable, and the other members are generally friendly. The price is fair for the  services offered. And I love that the trainers offer some free visits to get you started on the right track. I really do love this place!  Gyms, like many things in life are what you make it, this place make it that much easier to get excited about exercise.

I've been going here for around a year and over all, it has been a great experience and everything I want in a gym without spending a fortune. The gym offers monthly check ins with trainers allowing you to ask questions or get help in a one on one environment without paying the extra price most gyms would ask for. 

There is a variety of equipment suitable for all fitness levels and it is all in good shape. In the time I've been here I haven't had any problems with it and there is nothing missing that cannot easily be substituted with something readily available.

I would overall recommend ECA. They even offer a free week for taking a tour so there is really nothing to lose when coming to check out this gym!

I joined this gym because the staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a variety of classes and the instructors make you feel welcome to be there. The extra training you can sign up for is well worth what you pay.

I was introduced to Emerald City Athletics six months ago, by my co-worker. Although I am very health conscious, and love exercising, I had some reservation as to whether I should join that gym or another. After I was introduced to the routine I was skeptical as to whether the trainers will keep their promise to guide me through the process. 

 On my first day I was asked to state my goal, its importance to me and how I would like to accomplish it. I was really impressed, as I was made to state my goal and actually assist in the decision making of its accomplishment. 

My experience here at Emerald City has been awesome; the trainers are very warm and welcoming with their approach. They will make you smile through the gruesome process of exercising even when you do not feel like going the extra mile. The fear of learning to use the machines by looking at others quickly vanished as members were so wiling and ready to answer my call for assistance, when I need such. 
I need to mention Makaila, who has been working with me on a monthly basis. Makaila encourages me to get my results but in a manner that makes me want to go the extra mile. In addition, the persona of Abby, the GM makes everyone feels welcome and appreciated as members. 

Thanks to the team of Emerald City Athletics, GREAT job.
