I am currently in the middle of the visa process for myself and my family, and I have had many questions along the way.nnThe staff at the embassy have been extremely helpful and kind. They respond to my emails within just a few hours, always in a very polite and professional manner, and provide detailed answers to all of my questions.nnThey have been very patient throughout the process, and I never felt that they were frustrated with me, even though I had many things I needed to clarify.nnThis has been a truly great experience. The embassy is the first “gate” to experiencing South Korea before moving there, and so far, that experience has been absolutely amazing.nnThank you very much. Keep up the great work!
We went to the Embassy today for daughter’s Visa. The staffs are very nice and friendly. We arrived early before appointment time and was waiting outside the gate. While waiting there was one staff gentleman drove to the Embassy. He kindly parked his car in the driveway and let daughter in and then drove back to the u/g garage. Daughter said the Visa staff are very friendly too and there are books to read when waiting inside - she read one picture book :nnThere is free parking in the street and nice walking in the neighborhood.
I went to the Embassy today to get a Visa in order to attend a conference in South Korea. The lady at the front desk was very nice and understanding of my situation. She was able to help me get what was needed for my trip. The office was welcoming and comforting.
Sometimes legalization processes can be challenging, but the Korean consular staff has always been patient when explaining it to us. Even going as far as writing out a list of requirements and alternatives.nnThank you very much,nnThe Authentication Legalization Services Canada Team
I visited the embassy in 2012 to vote in the National Assembly elections. While there, I was asked if I had registered as an overseas Korean. The embassy staff told me that I needed to register and brought up military service issues. I was planning to apply for Canadian citizenship that year, so it was obvious. I told her about that. However, the staff member, despite being a woman with no military obligations herself, told me I should either quickly finish my military service or register. I found it extremely unpleasant and disrespectful that she interpreted my situation on her own terms. I hope the embassy takes note of such issues and makes improvements. Do not dismiss this as just another Google review; take it seriously.
